Thanks for the wonderful invite, I recently attended BMS Organics’ HAHA Kidz 2016 Total Kids’ Development Community Campaign, which was launched at One City Mall, USJ Subang Jaya.
‘HAHA‘ are initials symbolizing Healthy, Active, Happy and Advanced, a quintessential campaign aims to inspire the kids to grow up from a holistic aspect of ‘Body, Mind and Spirit’ which dovetails BMS Organics’ corporate philosophy.

Malaysia has been labeled the region’s fattest nation and the 6th most obese country in Asia. In April 2012, a survey by the Ministry of Health revealed that over a quarter of Malaysian school children were overweight.
“In view of the staggering statistics, nutrition and exercise are crucial and the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, especially for kids. We at BMS Organics are committed to keep Malaysians healthy through observing a vegetarian / organic diet and consume less meat,” said Terry Lee, CEO of BMS Organics.

H for Healthy
BMS has customized 4 healthy sets for this HAHA campaign, comprising few kid’s plant-based nutritional products and a cartoon bag. Ranging from RM268 to RM298, BMS Organics’ new range of kid’s healthy products include Biogreen O’Kid High Protein Organic Soya Milk Powder, Biogreen O’Kid Oatmilk, Biogreen Organic Spirulina Vita 7, O’ Forest Zi Enzymes, O’Forest Multi Grain Meal and O’Forest Instant Baby Oat. These sets are available at all BMS Organics outlets.

Children require adequate intake of calories, protein, calcium and a variety of nutrients for healthy grow and development. They need Protein for muscle growth and repair, DHA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) for the brain and eyes development, Calcium to strengthens the bones and teeth, as well as Iron to make hemoglobin which can cause anemia, affect memory and poor weight gain if lack of it. With no artificial additives, coloring and preservative, HAHA Kidz series are definitely a good choice for children ages 1-5 and 6-12.

A for Active
Veteran Tai Chi Master Sim Eng Ker of the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association of Malaysia demonstrated basic martial art movements with children from the House of Joy, a social concern and non-profit charitable home that administers shelter, care and training to orphans, children and teens.

“Kids between 5 to 17 years old need at least 60 minutes a day of moderate and vigorous activity. An active physical regime such as martial art is useful for kids. It is one viable form of exercise that can provide mental, physical and spiritual benefits,” said Master Sim who has taught Tai Chi for the past 40 years.

H for Happy
BMS Organics also presented complimentary Kung Fu Panda 3 movie tickets and new healthy products hamper to the children from House of Joy.

“We are happy to tie up with Kung Fu Panda 3. It brings good positive cheer to the kids and adults alike. At the same time, the movie is packed with life-enriching lessons such as being kind, courageous and true to oneself,” enthused Terry.

that’s definitely a good direction to get kids started on eating right and well. Tying up with kung fu panda 3 is also a good way to get the kids attention failing which just selling them proper eating might not be that fun.
