Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Fukusu Sushi, a Japanese restaurant that’s located in Kota Damansara, serving an extensive menu of Japanese foods at very affordable price.
From Sashimi, Sushi, Nigri, Temaki, Makimono, to hot stuffs like Udon, Ramen, Yakimono, Tempura, Gozen and Chankonabe, customers can enjoy good food that’s freshly made in a clean and neat dining environment together with family or friends.
*****
Chicken Katsu (RM12.90), fried breadcrumb chicken with rice coating with egg and ginger, a flavorful starter for the kids as well as adults.
*****
Anything with salmon is my favorite, including this beautiful Ura Maki (RM17.90) which rolled with cucumber and freshly fried salmon skin for that addictive crunchy bite texture.
*****
Beef Tataki Maki (RM15.90), this is definitely a maki not to be missed for beef lovers. Chef rolled the cucumber and kani stick together with sushi rice, then topped it with half-cooked tender striploin beef drizzled with special fukusu and teriyaki sauce. One bite, yummy!
*****
Something new to me, Ikageso Tempura (RM11.90), fried squid head and served with fukusu tempura sauce, not too bad.
*****
I am absolutely fine with just this bowl of Garlic Fried Rice (RM16.90), simple dish yet so comforting with garlic, eggs and mixture of butter sauce for the fragrant.
*****
Commonly known as one-pot dish, Chankonabe is a Japanese stew that contains mixture ingredients of your preference. We had the Kaisen Chankonabe (RM38.90) which served with cabbage, enoki mushroom, shitake mushroom, shiimeiji mushroom, white tofu, inari, udon, ikageso (squid head), ebi nobashi (prawn) and scallop in flavorful spicy miso soup.
For seafood lovers, you can try the Salmon Chankonabe (RM33.90) with cabbage, enoki mushroom, shitake mushroom, shiimeiji mushroom, white tofu, inari, udon and a big salmon fish head in mild miso soup.
