Renowned for its exquisite cuisine prepared using fine ingredients, I went to Black Market recently for their special menu under The CONNOR’S Experience, a unique collaboration with CONNOR’S Stout Porter to allow diners to fully immerse themselves in the Just Made Right holistic experience.

Drew inspiration from CONNOR’S Stout Porter, the talented chef from Black Market created 3 lip-smacking dishes which bound to satisfy your hunger with lots of pleasure.

Inspired by the original British Stout Porter recipe from the 1700s, the Master Brewer crafted their own version of the great Stout Porter with much devoted effort. Containing 5% of ABV, I like its crisp texture, creamy head and gentle roasty undertones that appeals to the modern taste buds.

CONNOR’S Stout Porter was re-launched in 2015 to create relevance with young, modern, and discerning stout drinkers looking for an alternative to lager beer that’s balanced in taste.

Not too rich, not too bitter, I really enjoy CONNOR’S Stout Porter unique balanced character, is the only brew that was Just Made Right for my palate.

The Black CONNOR’S Pork Ribs (RM69++ with 1 full pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter)

Served with refreshing salad at side in special house dressing which is tangy and citrus, Black Market twisted their this signature dish to a new level by infusing the meat with CONNOR’S Stout Porter.

Marinated overnight and sous-vide for long 15 hours, the ribs become so deliciously soft and tender, with right hint of bitterness after the aromatic sweet taste, all thanks to the housemade sauce and chef’s amazing technique to pull this off so flawlessly.

Signature Pork Shoulder with CONNOR’S Sauce (RM53++ with 1 full pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter)

Proud to captivate diners with their tantalizing pork dishes, this pork shoulder is no exception as well with its tenderness meat.

Accompanied by the homemade CONNOR’S sauce which is made by reducing CONNOR’S Stout Porter for 2 hours to the perfect thickness, delivering a palatable sweet taste with hint of aromatic from the CONNOR’S Stout Porter that will surely leave you craving for more!

CONNOR’S Pan Fried Chicken with Potato Salad (RM43++ with 1 full pint of CONNOR’S Stout Porter)

One of the crowd favorite dishes at Black Market, chef marinated the chicken overnight with his special homemade marinade infused with CONNOR’S Stout Porter for that unique flavor. In order to retain moisture of the meat, chef cooked the chicken in sous-vide style for 30 minutes before lightly pan fried it to have the crispy skin layer.

Simple but filling house-made potato salad was served at side to adds a nice creaminess to the meal.
