Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Eighth Avenue for their new menu launched, a sleek cozy bar at Publika offering exquisite flavours of the Australian-European classics, with twist of authentic creations and a fusion mix.
Lychee Pork Poppers (RM 28.90), a really interesting and unique bar nibble to me! Lychee fruit stuffed with minced pork then deep fried till golden brown perfection, I like the sweetness and saltiness all in one mouthful bite.
Presented in an interesting plating, this Angles and Demons (RM21.90) is one of The Eight Avenue’s best sellers. You can sample two different items here, smoked salmon wrapped in juicy cantaloupe, and bacon wrapped prunes, the uniquely combination of taste will tickle your devilish taste buds heavenly.
When it comes to variety of pork selections, diners are spoilt with choices at The Eighth Avenue. Remember to order this succulent Braised Pork Cheeks (RM35.90), which prepared in red wine for the superb flavour and served together with truffle mash at side. One of my porkylicious favourites here!
Taco About It (RM22.90), a colourful dish served in corn taco shells with ingredients like minced pork, capsicum, red onions, cheese, homemade guacamole and sour cream, something I like when I’m not in mood for heavy meal.
When West meets East, this Oink Oink Sambal (RM29.90), a pasta dish tossed with a dose of cream and pork slices cooked in homemade sambal paste, that kick of spicy taste will certainly leave you craving for more!
Stealing my attention next deliciously is this Mission Chilli A-Con-Plished Pizza (RM26.90). I like everything about this Mexican inspired pizza, the thin crust, the flavourful pork or chicken chili, and of course my favourite nachos that placed generously on top the pizza.
There’s something in the menu too for beef lovers, like this Beef Tenderloin (RM55.90), a 8oz of juicy meat pan-grilled to your liking of doneness, and served with chunky truffle mash potato, grilled egg plant, sauteed green bean, onion rings, as well as fusion black pepper sauce to further enhance its enticing taste.
Served alongside with jacket potato, onion rings and garden salad, this Beer Marinated Pork Ribs (RM53.90) is certainly an irresistable indulgence for the meat lovers. Chef marinated the baby back ribs for a long 8 hours period with beer and other secret ingredients before roasted it till juicy perfection.

With love and passion for Hendricks Gin, the owner of The Eighth Avenue created series of Hendricks Code, Eight Avenue specialty cocktails together with his mixologist.
Come and experience the best of Gin world with Hendricks Code, Gin Like A Boss. This is Boss Favourite, featuring Hendricks, cucumber ribbon, lemon, mint and juicy pomegranate seeds.
This is so easy to drink, Berry Kiss with blueberries, lemon and soda. It has a hint of sweetness, suitable for the woman’s palate.

I am fascinated by the cucumber ribbon in your drink. I want to take a bite or two on the Lychee Pork Poppers as well.
