Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Bytes and Pixels to sample some of their delicious signatures.
Located just next to the Sunway University, you can choose to park your vehicles at the nearby multi-storey car park, Bytes and Pixels is just within walking distance.
I like how the owner of Bytes and Pixels took some time and wrote each dish a short background story. Reading through their menu makes the ordering process a lot more fun!
Baked Eggs (RM16)
“No, baked eggs is not high. He’s just baked. Really, no need to test him for anything. We promise he’s all good.”
Chef nailed this dish perfectly right with his personal recipe of baked egg, feta cheese, lamb chilli con carne, and toast served at side. I quite like the flavourful chilli con carne, it will cettainly leave you craving for more!
Eggs Benny (RM14+ ; RM14 for beef bacon ; RM16 for smoked salmon)
“Ever since he took the spotlight away from its cousin, Smoked Salmon Tartin, he’s been feeling a little guilty lately. If Eggs Benny was in court, Eggs Benny would be guilty of being awesome woo! Runny yolk for everybody!”
Poking the poached egg and watch the yolk flow out beautifully somehow make my day. Come and indulge yourself too, a truly delectable meal with smoked salmon or beef bacon, sauteed spinach, poached egg, fried potatoes, and covered with house-made hollandaise sauce for the extra flavour.
Nachos (RM12+ ; RM13 for beef ; RM14 for lamb)
“Famous adventurers tell fabled tales of this snack plate bringing back life from the almost dead, banishing evil curses, causing regicide and political unrest within kingdoms, and also bringing joy to the sloshed. We here at Bytes and Pixels have come to the conclusion that probably only the last one was true. Probably.”
One of my all-time favourite snacks, nachos here are served together with beef or lamb chilli con carne, black olives, jalapenos, melted cheese, and the house-made sour cream. Perfect for sharing among friends over some laughter and cheerful conversation.
Lamb Lasagne (RM21)
“Mary had many little lambs, which we bought off her, and made into delicious lamb lasagne. Mary Now has no lambs, but now lives in a nice penthouse suite. Mary is content with the trade. And so are we. Thank you Mary.”
Cooked together with ingredients like lamb meat sauce, bechamel sauce and mozarella cheese, this lamb lasagne was served in a reasonable good portion to satisfy your hunger with luscious and creamy mouthful in every bite.
Pan Seared Chicken (RM19)
“+200 awesome for 2 hours is what the flavour text would say if you could hover your hand over this dish and have a pop up saying so. All the adventurers would be so jealous. I mean, +200? Awesome man. That’s like. Wow. +200 awesome. Then when it wears off you’re back to being normal again. That’s how we get you.”
Try out their mains here, like pasta, fish & chips, or this tender chicken breast served together with grilled young asparagus and creamy gravy. I like the roasted garlic mashed potatoes, so flavourful yum.
I like the colourful potions here! If you are low in energy or need some boast, come to Bytes and Pixels for their Health Potion, Mana Potion, Stamina Potion or Elixir. Priced at RM12 onward, these mocktails are simply the ideal thirst quencher especially during hot sunny days.
You will never get bored at Bytes and Pixels with their varieties of board games.
Caught in the rain? Bytes and Pixels has this awesome Rainy Day Coffee deal, where you can get 50% off on coffees with a purchase of any food items.
So adventurers, do drop by Bytes and Pixels if you are around Bandar Sunway to have a potion or two and a meal to heal up that low health bar!
