Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) for its Ramadhan showcasing themed “Selera Ramadhan”.
Featuring a wide array of mouth-watering Malaysian Favourites that one would associate with the holy month of Ramadhan, the Ramadhan buffet menu has my favourites including Bubur Lambuk Berherba, Lidah Goreng Pedas, Roasted Whole Lamb, Murtabak, Seafood Rojak Pasembor, Roti John, Pulut Serawa Durian and Bubur Kacang Hijau Durian.
There will be also 19 Live Action Cooking Stalls serving dishes that are either cooked a la minute or prepared fresh, such as Sup Berempah, Assorted Sushi and Sashimi, Sizzler Hot Plate/ Shell Out, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Assorted Satay, Masakan Kawah Pak Yus, Ketupat Palas, Assorted Tempura, Shawarma, and Assorted Cucur.
Buffet connoisseurs would definitely make a beeline for the Roasted Crispy Duck with Plum Sauce, as well as the Ikan Bakar and Otak Otak stall that serves four types of fishes.
To satisfy the colourful taste buds of fellow Malaysian food enthusiasts, there are also a selection of international dishes, such as Grilled Chicken Leg with Mushroom Sauce, Grilled Black Pepper Mini Beef Steak, and Pizza Italiano.
Quench your thirst as an assorted array of truly-Malaysian drinks like Teh Tarik and Nescafe Tarik (pulled live upon ordering), Cincau, Soya Bean, Air Jagung, Sugar Cane, and Fruity Smoothies among others will be available.
No meal is complete without a sweet ending and surely the desserts selection will not disappoint. Indulge in a host of local sweets such as Tapai Pulut, Wajik and Dodol, complemented by stalls that will freshly prepare ABC, Pancakes and Waffles with condiments.

Priced at RM99 nett per person, the Ramadhan buffet will start daily from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm beginning from 27 May 2017 until 22 June 2017. Children (aged 6 to 12 years) and senior citizens (aged 60 and above) enjoy a 25% discount. Children below 6 years eat for free.
Early bird vouchers are up for sale at RM69 nett in March and RM79 nett from 1 April 2017 until 14 May 2017. For every purchase of 10 vouchers, one (1) complimentary voucher will be given. Special banqueting packages for Buka Puasa, Hari Raya Open House, and Outside Catering services are also available. Book early to avoid disappointment.

The promotion offers diners the luxury of having the best treasures the restaurant has to offer, presenting 60 All-You-Can-Eat ala minute dishes, along with 79 delectable dim sum selections.
