Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently attended a private cocktail party by TEVA to celebrate the official opening of their very first TEVA showcase at Mid Valley Megamall, which is available from 24 April till 24 June 2017.

TEVA was born in the Grand Canyon back in 1984, when a river guide named Mark Thatcher rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip flops and created a sandal that wouldn’t float away. A few straps, a flexible sole, and some colorful webbing.

Three decades later, the brand has grown up into an icon of comfort and utilitarian style. With that classic sandal, they fundamentally changed the way people experienced the outdoors, opening up a whole new world to anyone willing to strap in.

The launch was officiated by Mr Vach Pillutla, CEO of Al-Ikhsan. Later, guests were treated to an urban fashion showcase celebrating the adventurous spirit of TEVA, an iconic sandals of comfort and utilitarian style.

The fashion showcase featured the latest collection from SS17 which included iconic sandals – Alp Premier, Terra Fi Lite, Terra Float Nova, Hurricane Volt; flatform – Flatform Universal; and shoes – Arrowood Swift Slip On.
