The first quick-service restaurant (QSR) opened in Malaysia along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman in 31st October 1963, I still remember my dad took us to A&W every month for their signatures like RB Float (previously known as Root Beer Float), Waffle, Beef Coney (previously known as Coney Dog) and Golden Aroma Chicken.
Available in Golden Aroma Chicken and Spicy Aroma Chicken, A&W chickens are freshly breaded with special herbs and cooked to golden perfection upon serving to the customers. Juicy and tender are among the key qualities of its specialty. My personal favourite would be the Spicy Aroma Chicken. It is really spicy, and the spiciness is different from other brands, one piece is definitely not enough.
By the way, have you ever wondered why you hardly see their fried chicken on the holding tray? It is because A&W Malaysia is committed to serve only freshly cooked chicken to the customers, with holding time not more than 30 minutes.
