Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Yoogane at 1 Utama Shopping Centre for their Honey Miso Chicken Pan, a brand new dish for this festive season celebration that is available from 17 November until 31 December 2017.
Price at RM98++, you can indulge the Honey Miso Chicken Pan when you order their Western-Korean fusion Christmas Set Menu, which comes together with 4 exquisite side dishes – Crispy Salad, Tteok-Galbi, Citron Prawn and Soft Shell Crab, 2 festive drinks, as well as 2 posset desserts.
Marinated for 12 long hours with Honey Miso, their staff will pan fried this fresh and tender chicken dish for about 5-10 minutes in front of your eyes together with dokboki and assorted vegetables.
How to indulge in this Honey Miso Chicken? Well…, you can wrap the juicy, savoury-sweet sliced chicken and vegetable in a tortilla and dip it in their delicious Sriracha Mayo or Coriander Aioli sauce for a different taste of Korean food.
Colourful Crispy Salad with sliced Japanese cucumber soaked in Korean vinegar, served together with julienned bell pepper, Spanish onion, daikon pickle and pomegranate. It is so appetizing to kick start my Christmas meal with.
Tteok-Galbi features pan-seared beef patty with crispy turkey bacon atop a bed of julienned daikon, one of my favourite side dishes at Yoogane.
Such a refreshing Citron Prawn appetizer, with fresh prawn in citron sauce with a medley of root vegetable, grapefruit segment and topped with tobiko to enhance the indulgence experience.
Deep fried Soft Shell Crab with crispy fried tofu and kimchi, my all-time seafood dish.
The refreshing thirst quenchers, The Pom Pom (Pomegranate Slushies) and Sweet Tidings (Plum Slushies), are surely to evoke the joy of festive season from the very first sip with its sweet sourish flavours.
End your festive feast at Yoogane on a sweet note with their creatively concocted Berry Sweet Plum and Berry Sweet Lemon Possets, a cold dessert made from thickened cream with hint of sourish to wash down the greasiness from the main course.
