Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Alamanda Putrajaya for the Fiesta unifi that was held from 28 June to 4 July, a weekend-long event in conjunction with Raya celebrations. Fiesta unifi showcased the complete range of convergence experience that unifi can offer which includes unifi Home, unifi Wifi, unifi Mobile and unifi TV. The event enables the visitors to fulfill their needs of the latest communication solution and entertainment crave from unifi.

unifi TV, the award winning IPTV service by Telekom Malaysia Berhad, also celebrated the launch of Dunia Sinema (Ch. 128) at the Fiesta unifi. The 24-hour local movie channel offers customers the best of Malaysian movies as well as a selection of favourite Asian film titles with genres ranging from romance, horror, action, comedy and more. Exciting line-up of actors and celebrities including Liyana Jasmay, Amar Asyraf, Syazuwan Hassan and Aisya Hasnaa were among the local celebrities attended the launch of Dunia Sinema.

Previously offered as a subscription video on demand (VOD) channel on unifi TV, Dunia Sinema is now available 24-hour as a non-stop linear movie channel and is offered as part of Aneka Pack and Ultimate Pack or on an ala carte basis at RM9 per month. Existing unifi customers can start enjoying Dunia Sinema by subscribing to a unifi TV pack via unifi TV remote control. Dunia Sinema channel is also available on unifi PlayTV app for on the movie viewing.

With its tagline “Never Ending Imagination” or “Imaginasi Tanpa Henti”, you get to enjoy your favorite popular local movies on Dunia Sinema channel such as Pekak, Ophilia, Adnan Sempit, Wawa Semput, Mendam Berahi, Mat Moto and many more. There is also popular movies from Asian countries such as Indonesia blockbuster ‘Ketika Cinta Bertasbih’ and ‘Dalam Mihrab Cinta’ as well as Thailand’s favourite blockbuster movie such as ‘Suddenly 20’, ‘May Who?’, ‘Ghost Ship’, ‘The Couple’, just to name a few in Bahasa Malaysia subtitle. Specifically for the month of July, customers can enjoy local blockbuster movies such as ‘Isteri Untuk Dijual’, ‘Abang Lejen’, ‘Nasi Tangas’, ‘Black Maria’, ‘Driving School’, ‘Make Me Shudder 2’, and many more.

There were also special performances, games and promotions at the Fiesta unifi specially for the crowd by unifi TV’s local channels, HyppSensasi HD, HyppInspirasi HD, Salam HD and Pesona HD.

Fiesta unifi also showcased spectacular musical performance, by Indonesian singing sensation, Virgoun brought by Pesona HD (Ch. 141), unifi TV’s Indonesian entertainment channel. Taking the stage along-side him were local favourites from Sony Music Malaysia, including Dato’ AC Mizal, Sufian Suhaimi, Farisha Aisha, Insomniacks and Bahiyya Hanessa.

unifi TV now offers its customers a total of 115 channels with 67 channels in High Definition (HD), consisting of 62 premium channels, 26 free channels, 2 radio channels, 7 video-on-demand (VOD) channels and 18 interactive channels in a wide variety of affordable packages or via ala-carte options.

In April 2018, Aneka Plus, Ruby Plus and Varnam Plus Packs were added with 20 more channels including kids, general entertainment and lifestyle channels to provide a more enriching experience to customers.
