Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to New World Petaling Jaya Hotel for their festive offerings during this Chinese New Year.
Glorious Chinese New Year and spring temptations await at Pasar Baru, one of New World Petaling Jaya Hotel’s acclaimed dining outlets where Executive Chef, Joshua Er and Banquet Sous Chef, Chai Chun Keong, are all set to delight diners with sumptuous festive buffet feast exclusively from 14 January to 19 February 2019. Priced at RM118 nett per person, it is available daily for lunch (12 noon to 2.30 pm) and dinner (6.30 pm to 10.30 pm).
For group bookings, experience an oriental opulence with grand décor of Shanghai splendour, from 14 January to 28 February 2019.

Among all the dishes, my personal favourite would be Chef Chai’s speciality dishes including Steamed Garoupa in Superior Soy Sauce, Braised Seasonal Vegetables with Dried Oyster, Mushrooms, Black Moss and ‘Tau Kan’, as well as DeepFried Prawns with Wasabi Mayo and Almond Flakes.
