Be afraid. Be very afraid cause it is that time of the year once again when all the things that go bump in the night come out to play!!
Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to SOULed OUT at Desa Sri Hartamas for their The Monster Ball 2019, a Halloween event that will surely be the talk and toast of town.
Pulling out all the stops for a night of grim and gore, the ghouls at SOULed OUT were summoning all to join its group of beautiful angels, demons and the lost ones in between as they delved into the opulent world of incomparable supernatural revelry at its finest.
Be surrounded by decadent mystery, devilish energy, spectral escapades and cheeky masquerade as the sun sets at The Monster Ball 2019. On this fabulously freaky night, the choice is yours, so indulge your inner sinner and give in to your dark side. You can always redeem your wicked ways tomorrow.
SOULed OUT’s forayed into Halloween’s signature monstrous mischief and mayhem, which surely not for the timid or the faint at heart. An array of spooky delights were available throughout the night including the crowd favourite magic show, face painting, a haunted photobooth, hair-raising SO Gaya dancers, the Spooky Dip challenge and much more!
The cauldron had even brewed up some pretty potent potions. For the grown-ups, my wickedly delicious Monster Ball’s cocktail, the Black Eye Fear (RM25) with vodka, cranberry juice, and lime.
For non-alchoholic drinker or the little ones, you can have the Bella’s Eyes (RM12), a mixture of mango, orange and fresh lemon juice as well as strawberry syrup.
The Monster Ball 2019 also held a Best Dressed competition for both adults and kids, patrons were making sure that they came up with the best costume they can.
All monsters were welcomed to indulge in the fun. Doors opened at 6:30 pm onwards and the patrons were getting their monster groove on before the rest of the undead beat them to it. Halloween weekend in Kuala Lumpur is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated holidays of the year and SOULed OUT is definitely the place to be.
SOULed OUT began in 1996 as a small neighbourhood café in Mont Kiara and moved to her current premise in Desa Sri Hartamas in December 1999. So, named as each and every staff member puts their heart and soul into providing her patrons with the best. It is part of the SOUL Society Group that comprises of other iconic outlets such as WIP, Tujo Bar-sserie & Grill and Hubba Hubba.
