Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to JUMPA@Sungei Wang Plaza to check out MinNature Malaysia, a new attraction in Kuala Lumpur.
MinNature Malaysia concept evolved to focus on the simple beauty of Malaysia’s culture, history and heritage. It will take a lifetime to discover and experience all the wonderful things about Malaysia. The team believes that using miniature is the best way to have a glimpse of what Malaysia is really like, each scenes having its own and distinct stories; its very own mini story.

You can see over 100 heritage and iconic buildings around the country in miniaturised form and over 10,000 other figurines that depict the Malaysian life in this 13,000 sq ft exhibition area. The ticket is priced at RM25 for adult, RM20 for child from 4-12 years old, and child below 4 years old is free of charge.

You also get to learn more information of various tourism spots and Malaysian cultures at the exhibition, from directions, best time of visit and other necessary details. Tourists can even plan your journey here to visit which destinations.

The launch of MinNature is good timing with the government’s Visit Malaysia Year 2020. “Tourist will have a good glimpse of the beauty of what Malaysia has to offer during their stay here. We are expecting about 100,000 visitors for the year as we are in a strategic location,” said Wan Cheng Huat, the project director.

Some of the sections that I enjoyed at MinNature Malaysia include the ‘Taste of Malaysia’ series, where they feature handcrafted unique food items miniatures that can only be found here in this country and region.

The team of MinNature took 1 1/2 years to learn 3D modeling works and 3D printing on the job from scratch. They clocked over 8,000 hours of 3D modeling and over 113,400 hours in 3D printing. All of these 3D printing were done by 10 small sized 3D printers housed in a tiny 60 square feet room running 24 hour cycles.

As a local, I get to learn more about my beautiful country after a visit at MinNature. The exhibition is truly one of its kind and I had enjoyed a unique experience there. For more information, kindly visit their website at www.minnature.com.
