May the divine light of Diwali spread into your life and bring peace, prosperity, happiness, good health and grand success!!

A celebration will not be complete without a delicious feast with family and friends. Passage Thru’ India offers a tantalizing Deepavali festive menu that is available for dine-in or delivery (need to pre-order a day before), from 14th until 30th November 2020.

Passage Thru India’s stellar dish, this exquisite Firewood Chicken Dhum Briyani is prepared with kachchi mos (raw meat), marinated with spices overnight then soaked in dahi (curd), which is then sandwiched between layers of fragrant basmati rice, exotic Indian spices, Egyptian saffron, Persian cashews, and almonds.
It is slowly cooked in sealed handi (vessel) with dough, and firewood placed above and below ‘in dhum’ to enhance its flavours. This is a challenging process as it requires meticulous attention to time and temperature to avoid over or under cooking the meat.

Diced cucumber, onion, chilli, and carrot soaked in spiced yogurt, this refreshing condiment Raitha is an excellent accompaniment to the Dhum Briyani. The festive set also comes with Mint Chutney, a delicious tangy condiment prepared from fresh mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger and garlic accompanied by some Papadum.

Plain Tandoor Parottha, a Punjabi whole wheat flatbread that is roasted in a charcoal flamed clay oven.

Mutton Perattal is perfect for a Deepavali festive meal. Perattal, which means dry curry with luscious thick gravy in Tamil, is popular in Indian cooking. It is slow-cooked to allow the flavours to develop into a full-bodied wallop of savoury piquancy.

Paneer Makhini, a specially made paneer cubes (cottage cheese) that is soft and mellow, cooked in spicy rich Mughlai gravy of tomato, cashew nuts, milk cream along with butter that makes it irresistibly delicious. An ultimate Punjabi Love Affair.

Ladoo, the Queen of Indian Sweets. A must have in any Indian festive or religious season. Packed with bengal gram flour, ghee, sugar fruits and nuts. Comes in various version but Passage Thru India brings a good old classic Boondi Ladoo especially for you.
