Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently found a new restaurant along the Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur that offers the best from both worlds – Eastern and Western cuisines.
The restaurant interior of Sobeit (pronounce as So-Be-It) was decorated with a lot of wood furnishing, creating a warm dining environment that makes the place looks so inviting and comfortable. Tingle your taste buds with their wide choice of menu that covers All Day Breakfast, Pasta, Pizza, Asian & Indian Foods, Burger, Western Main Dishes, Small Plates, and Dessert.
A chicken dish prepared by roasting a whole spring chicken marinated in yogurt and spices in a tandoor, it is impossible to not enjoy eating their fragrant Tandoori Chicken.
Butter Chicken is one of my favourite Northern Indian foods, consisting morsels of chicken simmered in tomato cream flavoured with fenugreek. I like its rich creamy texture with hint of mild spiciness that I can tolerate. You can also order some tandoor breads or naan to eat together with this dish.
Any red meat lovers here? We tried their Lloyd French Rack of Lamb and I truly enjoyed its tender meat accompanied with chef’s special sauce. This dish was certainly cooked to please the discerning taste buds of Sobeit’s customers.
No one can resist a good delicious burger, like this Big Daddy Beef Burger, featuring double beef patties served between sesame buns with cheese sliced, salad, gherkins, and crispy fries on the side.
Come in large size, Sobeit also serves varieties of pizza for diners to share among each other. We tried the Pear Gorgonzola Cheese Pizza that has a nice combination of sweet (caramelized pear) and savoury (cheese) taste, giving you an unforgettable experience once you have a bite.
Those wanting a lighter meal can try this Butter Flaky Beef Crust that comes with mashed potato and vegetables at side. The pie filling was minced beef meat, it is flavourful and moist after I drizzled some brown sauce to elevate its overall taste.
Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Sobeit strives to bring you an experience that you will never forget. From dinner date with your loved ones to casual dining with your friends, they’ve got you covered! By the way, you may park your car in front of the restaurant (quite limited), or at the opposite Ampwalk’s basement car park.
