MyeongDong Topokki brings together different types of mouth-watering Korean street foods under one roof. The brand insists on using only original ingredients to prepare their food and house specialty topokki, which enables MyeongDong Topokki to be the pioneer of Korean street food in town.

Topokki was originally a royal dish that was served to the King during the celebration that commemorates the first month of the year during the Joseon dynasty. After the Korean War in the 1950s, topokki was introduced to the masses. This chewy rice cake drenched with red spicy gravy was a popular school lunch for students back then.
