Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to check out the Padangs On Wheels Nusantara Restaurant that is located at Subang Bestari, Shah Alam.

To be honest, I am not familiar with the Indonesian Minang/Padang cuisine. However, the person in charge was kind enough to explain each dish to me patiently while I sampled it during the food review.

I really enjoyed the dining ambiance at Padangs on Wheels with its modern and warm interior decoration. They also have a nice al-fresco area for diners who would like to enjoy their meal in the open air. Besides Subang Bestari, Padangs On Wheels also owns another branch at Section 13, Shah Alam.

The restaurant offers so many authentic varieties on their menu!! Some of the delicious Minang/Padang dishes that I tried include their Daging Dendeng, Gulai Tunjang, Ayam Kalio, Sotong Berlado, Udang Berlado, Jering Berlado, Gulai Pucuk Ubi, and many more.

Had the Sirap Danau Toba and Alpukat (avocado juice) for refreshing thirst quenchers. Other Nusantara drinks that caught my attention include Coconut Mayang, Markisar Dream, Es Teh Botol Special, Lemon Zass Nusantara, and Watermelon Lychee Iced Soda… Gonna try it in my next visit 😉

Padangs On Wheels Nusantara is definitely the must-visit restaurant if you want to indulge in some really nice authentic Minang/Padang cuisine with family and friends. By the way, they also serve breakfast menu from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. such as Bakso Pow, Soto, Lontong, and many more.
