Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to sample some delicious healthy meals at La Casa in conjunction with the World Health Day on Thursday, April 7.

To raise awareness for the importance of a balanced diet, La Casa has created ‘Glorious Green‘ and ‘Ravishing Red‘, 2 special fares that combine the art of slow cooking with the use of tasteful healthy ingredients. This promotion is available at La Casa from now until April 30 2016.

Glorius Green Set Menu (RM49++)

De-toxification, a glass of refreshing juice with cucumber, crunchy celery and sour green apple blended together to help detoxify your body system.

Char-grilled herb infused chicken breast, served with refreshing quinoa salad mixed together mint, cilantro and mango in tangy citrus dressing. High in fiber and full of cell-sustaining antioxidants, quinoa is always labeled as the mother of all grain.

Homemade granola bar and homemade yogurt with mixed berries for the dessert.

Ravishing Red Set Menu (RM59++)

Quench your thirst with this Beautification, a sweet Orange-Carrot-Honey juice, a natural and delicious beauty booster that will make your skin glow.

Char-grilled salmon with barley risotto, sauteed green sprouts and roasted pumpkin. Barley works incredibly well as a flavourful substitute for rice and brings a new twist to the renowned risotto. It is widely known for lowering one’s cholesterol level and latest studies show that barley can also reduce the sugar level and therefore minimise the risk of developing diabetes.

This Little Garden dessert was beautifully plated with baked meringue mushrooms, tropical fruits and berries on creamy passion fruit sauce.

During the creation of these dishes a lot of emphasis was put on the conservation of the natural contents. Both the fish and the chicken are being grilled instead of roasted or fried which preserves the protein and keeps the healthy acids intact. Diners can also go with few or none oil at all, resulting in a low calorie dish perfect for everyone who puts an emphasis on their daily caloric intake.

    Yum.. yum.. A healthy yet tasty food . The price is reasonable yet healthy. No so oily and the restaurant serve a balance nutrition.
