Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to the launching event of 2nd phase Anchor Say Cheese Campaign – an exclusive assortment of Anchor-branded desserts, a first of its kind in the market by Fonterra Foodservices Malaysia.
Together with its selected bakery partners, Fonterra Foodservices continues to delight customers with limited-edition desserts created by Fonterra’s own in-house patisserie chefs using top quality real butter, cream cheese, milk and cream from its highly popular Anchor range.
While the last first introduced Japanese-inspired desserts with a heavy use of Anchor Cream Cheese, the new selection of desserts are more European themed and feature delicious sweet breads as well.
Almond Rosa, a nutty almond butter sponge cake with a rich layer of cream cheese.
Cheeznie, a perfect combination of cheese and chocolate with cream cheese sandwiched between 2 slices of decadent chocolate brownies and topped with chopped walnuts.
First Love, a sweet bread with brown sugar cream cheese in the center sprinkled with brown sugar for that added crunch, guaranteeing love at first bite.
Lady Marmalade, a sweet bread with an orange cream cheese filling topped with orange candied peel.
“As customers are becoming more discerning, they are looking for more exclusive products to indulge in. This is our way of bringing the Anchor brand directly to the consumers in the most experimental way. Our bakery partners are highly supportive and have been long-term users of our Anchor products, and this will also showcase their commitment to bring only the best to their customers,” said Ms Linda Tan, Head of Fonterra Foodservices.
“Our theme for this year is Connecting with Loved Ones, and what better way to spend time with people we love most and sweeten the celebrations than over some delicious desserts,” she added.
Each bakery partner will whip up the delicious Anchor branded desserts using the original recipes and training provided by Fonterra’s patisserie chefs, with a slight tweak to suit the unique preferences of its customers.
Available now until December 2016, customers will also receive a limited edition Anchor spoon with every purchase of 2 boxes of Anchor’s signature desserts. Besides RT Pastry branches in Klang Valley, these signature desserts will also be available at Bread History (Penang), The Bakers Hut (Seri Manjung), Born n Breads (Ipoh), Patisfrance and Yeast Pastry (Malacca), Veluxe Cake House (Skudai), Fung Seng (Muar), Port View Euro Bread (Kota Kinabalu), Taka (Kuching) and Hot Cross Bun (Miri).
