Established in Tampa, Florida in 1988, Outback Steakhouse is an Australian themed steakhouse restaurant that offers bold flavorful food, excellent service and attentive staff.

Located inside the happening BB Park that is right at the center of Bukit Bintang, Outback Steakhouse has proudly served a troop of its loyal steak fans, as well as attracts a steady number of visitors for its quality food. Besides BB Park, Outback Steakhouse is also available at Nu Sentral Mall.

Although beef and steak items make up a good portion of the menu, the concept offers a variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes.

Caribbean Mojito (RM23.95)

One of the signature cocktails at Outback Steakhouse, my favorite Caribbean Mojito! It is a twist on the traditional mojito, blended with Bacardi Limon, fresh lime, mint and topped with Sprite. Enjoyable refreshing.

Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla (Full RM26.95; Half RM17.95)

A perfect appetizer for me to begin my scrumptious meal, the bold twist on a classic Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla. Chef stuffed the grilled flour tortilla with grilled chicken breast, sautéed mushrooms, beef bacon, melted cheeses and Outback Steakhouse own mixed of honey mustard sauce.

Combination Platter (RM29.95)

Diners are spoiled with varieties of great choices offered at Outback Steakhouse, this combination platter perhaps is a good idea to able taste some of the signatures that include Kookaburra wings, Aussie Cheese Fries and Crispy Fried Mushrooms.

Kookaburra Wings are chicken wings that tossed in a savory blend of secret spices and diners get to choose between mild, medium or hot. Paired with creamy Blue Cheese dressing and celery, it helps to ease the spiciness for more enjoyment.

I love this sinful cheesy topping of Aussie Fries with melted Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and bits of fresh chopped beef bacon. Served together with spicy ranch dressing, just simply awesome!

The spicy ranch dressing match well with the lightly breaded and fried mushrooms too. Crispy outside but still remain its juiciness inside, a simple but addictive appetizer snack to me.

BBQ Beef Ribs (Full RM59.95; Half RM39.95)

Served together with Aussie Fries, these crafted with meticulous attention to every detail fall-off-the-bone beef ribs are exactly the way beef ribs should be! Chef smoked and grilled the succulent and saucy ribs to perfection in tangy BBQ sauce. Superb taste!

Typhoon Burger (RM24.95)

Awesome right the name? The portion is very generous too. Topped with Outback Steakhouse’s signature Typhoon Bloom petals, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Typhoon Bloom sauce, I was truly enjoyed and satisfied to immerse myself into this mouth-watering burger. Diners may need to wait awhile for this to be served as their ground beef burgers are cooked to order. Well, good foods are worth to wait for!

Toowoomba Topped Sirloin (RM59.95)

Outback Steakhouse offered 4 types of Perfect Combination Combos for diners who love varieties. The choices are Toowoomba Topped Sirloin (RM59.95), Steak and Shrimp (RM59.95), Beef Ribs and Alice Springs Chicken (RM54.95), Chicken and Beef Ribs (RM49.95). Not enough of satisfaction? Diners can add a cup of Soup of the Day or one of the Signature Side Salads for RM7.95.

We had the Toowoomba Topped Sirloin, one of the crowd favorite dishes at the dinner. Chef tossed the sautéed shrimp and button mushrooms in a thick tomato cream sauce, then served it over a seasoned and seared till nicely done sirloin.

Grilled Salmon (RM39.95)

Double thumbs up for Outback Steakhouse’s Grilled Salmon! Chef seasoned and grilled the boneless salmon fillet till perfection without losing much moist within. Served together with fresh seasonal veggies and rice pilaf, the portion is quite satisfying.

Chocolate Thunder from Down Under (RM19.95)

Oh no, it is melting, by my burning desire to polish it off clean plate!

Fresh-baked pecan brownie topped with rich vanilla ice cream and drizzled with Outback Steakhouse’s classic warm chocolate sauce. Chocolate shavings and whipped cream are added too for the ultimate sinful dessert moment. Definitely a chocolate lover’s dream!
