Blu Med Salad (RM29)
[portfolio_slideshow include=”5291″]
We began our dinner with this light Blu Med Salad, which is a mix of fresh seafood that includes prawns, squids, dried scallops, and mussels, plus celery stick, olives, and red cabbage in the refreshing apple vinaigrette dressing. Looking at its portion and the ingredients served, it was definitely a lovely way to kick off the evening with.

Ajillo of Prawns (RM25)

One of the most classic tapas in Spanish cuisine, chef sautéed the fresh prawns with lots of garlic and parsley in olive oil that infused with chili. Served together with crispy toasted bread, I like the rich flavor that kept me dipping the bread into the olive oil.

Spaghetti Squid Ink (RM30)

I personally not really a squid ink fans because of the after-meal stain. Served together with squids, clams, cherry tomatoes, and mussels, chef own mixed of this unique squid ink sauce delivered a nice blend of flavor to the al-dente spaghetti, and more importantly, you can still have that bright smile after finishing the dish.

Spaghetti Vongole Bianco (RM25)

An Italian favorite that cooked in white wine with fresh ingredients like Littleneck clams, cherry tomatoes, and slices of zucchini. I was mesmerized by the aromatic thinly shredded chilies that placed on top, can even smell the fragrance once it was served at my table. It added a nice little touch of spicy flavor without significant substance.

Lamb Patty with Spicy Tomato Sauce (RM16)

Without much the uncomfortable gamey taste, I like this lamb patty that chef mixed the minced lamb with onion and parsley. Arabiatta sauce was served along to spice up little bit the overall taste.

Quattro Formaggie (RM48)
[portfolio_slideshow include=”5295″]
This is truly a pizza for the ultimate cheese lover! Mozzarella, Taleggio, Gorgonzola (Blue Cheese) and Parmesan, that’s 4 different cheeses on a slice of pizza! The Blue Cheese will definitely make you mesmerized even after long eaten with its strong taste still stick around your mouth.
To balance up the cheese’s saltiness, chef paired it with honey from yellow locust flower to add a hint of aromatic sweet flavor without significant substance.

Blu Med Fish & Chips (RM28)

Almost every western cuisine restaurants do serve this popular classic dish Fish & Chips, and so does Blu Med. Served together with Cajun flavored potato wedges at the side, chef deep fried the fish fillet till a nice golden brown that without much oily yet remain the moisture inside. Have it with the lemon and basil mayonnaise, love it!

Chocolate Banana Parfait (RM19)

‘Parfait’ in French literally means ‘Perfect’, and to me it describes well this dessert I had to conclude the wonderful meal at Blu Med. Chef paired the chocolate cake and banana with my favorite vanilla and chocolate ice cream, a classic ever-green taste that never fail a sweet-tooth person like me.
