President of With Link Co. Jp., Toshiharu Eguchi was present to introduce the brand, reiterating the revered history of Ramen as a Japanese staple. There are currently ten outlets in Japan that are operated by the principal and 30 more as franchises. There are also two outlets in Singapore‟s Tanglin Store and United Square Mall with plans of launching 30 international outlets in five years.

“Ramen noodles are representative of Japanese culture,” he said. “It’s also well-loved in Asia, America, Europe and the Middle East. I believe this is due to the varieties of flavour and combinations of soups and toppings. Our corporate philosophy is in ‘human resource development’ and we promise to work to maintain this as a priority moving forward.

I went into the food service business in 1992 without any experience and started franchising a curry shop. Through trial-and-error, initial struggles and eventually taking the leap into the Ramen business, I learned that this truly unique Japanese staple is immensely popular globally. Our corporate philosophy is to build good character through our work and making an impression with our customer base.”
