Thanks to the lovely invitation, I recently had the chance to sample the new range of mouth-watering promotional menu at Tim Ho Wan, Michelin-starred Hong Kong’s most famous dim sum restaurant, which available from now until 30 April. With its Michelin Star status to keep up with, Tim Ho Wan guarantees diners a gastronomic dining experience at a conveniently affordable price.

Signature Five Treasure (RM12.50)

First to be debuted and exclusively available in Mid Valley restaurant, chef generously stuffed these silky beancurd, deep fried tofu, capsicum and eggplant with shrimps and chicken paste accompanied by his signature black bean sauce. The savory taste of this healthy and colourful Signature Five Treasure was very close to the original Hong Kong style.

Crystal Shrimp Roll with Century Egg (RM10.50)

Drenched in superior abalone sauce, this Tim Ho Wan’s Crystal Shrimp Roll with shrimp paste, asparagus, century egg and fish roe enveloped in crystal-clear rice dumpling skin, was truly a delightful dim sum not to be missed especially for the shrimp lovers.

The famous ‘Four Heavenly Kings’ at Tim Ho Wan were definitely not-to-be-missed also, dim sum made fresh daily that have won the plaudits of food critics and the hearts of epicureans around the world.

Baked Bun with BBQ Pork (RM10.80)

Crumbly and fluffy on the outside in nice golden brown color, the cooked-to-perfection barbecued pork in sweet-salty sauce that oozing out from inside was my top favorite why I kept coming back Tim Ho Wan for this heavenly delicious pork bun.

Light and spongy in texture, I enjoyed very much the hint of flavourful caramelised taste in this steamed egg cake.

Pan Fried Carrot Cake (RM9.80)

Loaded with a lot of scrumptious radish bits that delivered satisfying and aromatic flavours with every bite.

Vermicelli Roll with Pork Liver (RM10.80)

Interesting take on the traditional “Chee Cheong Fun” dish, this vermicelli roll has a satiny smooth texture while the fresh pork liver lends a nice gamey flavour to the overall taste.
