Thanks to the wonderful invitation from Seeties, I recently get a chance to make myself my very first healthy and delicious sandwich at O’Briens spacious outlet in Solaris Dutamas.

O’Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe is a lifestyle chain founded in 1988 by Brody Sweeny in Dublin, Ireland and has since expanded to over 200 stores worldwide. With 21 outlets in Malaysia, O’Briens is easily accessible to anyone who craves for a healthy wholesome meal.

After a brief introduction session, the 1st exclusive O’Briens sandwich making workshop was began. All the invited guests were given a cap, apron and disposable gloves before stepped into the kitchen for hygiene purpose.

Making my own Classic Caesar Chicken Wrap (RM18.40), which consists of parmesan, chicken, chicken crisp, crouton, olive, mixed leaves and caesar dressing. Diners can also request for extra filling with additional RM4.30.
Creating your own sandwich is very easy at O’Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe, you just need to follow the given instruction of 1 Bread + 1 Main Filling + 3 Salads + 1 Sauce in order to have a good layering wholesome sandwich.

There are as many as 15 types of main fillings store in this eye-catching sandwich bar that specially imported from Spain, such as the Egg, Egg Mayo, Plain Chicken, Chicken Mayo, Chicken Slice, Chicken Crisp, Chicken Sausage, Mild Spicy Herbs Chicken, Volcanic Chicken, Peri-Peri Chicken to Turkey, Beef, Plain Tuna, Tuna Mayo and Smoked Salmon too.
O’Briens breads are baked with specially formulated Irish recipe, such as the unique Shambo, a type of foccacia bread that baked in the shape of the Shamrock (it is the epitome of Ireland and also represents good luck). O’briens also offers White Bread (traditional style), Wholemeal Bread (multiple good source), Wholemeal Shambo (house speciality of Irish Shambo), Facaccia Shambo (for herb lovers), Ciabatta (Italian style), Multigrain (high in complex) and Wrappo (good for diet).

Cheese lovers will be delighted with the cheese choices here, which includes Cheddar Cheese, Swiss Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Brie Cheese, Feta Cheese and Parmesan Cheese.
As for salad, there are chock-full of Mixed Peppers, Roasted Peppers, Red Onion, Sweetcorn, Black Olives, Croutons, Pine Nut, Walnut, Tomato, Cucumber, Lettuce, Lollo Rosa, Lollo Bionda, Coleslaw, Watercress, Sun dried, Roasted Brinjal and Roasted Zucchini.

The spread and sauces in O’Briens are created using special Irish recipe that only available at O’Briens. With choices like the Basil Pesto, Cream Cheese, Honey Mustard, Aran Island, Ballymaloe, Caesar Dressing, Italian, Cranberry, Guacamole (made from fresh avocado) and Houmous.
O’Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe uses TurboChef Tornado, a all-in-one high speed commercial convection microwave oven, to toast, brown and crisp their foods 12 times faster than the normal cooking methods, and most importantly, it does not let the smell out ensuring the outlet stay fresh and comfortable.
