Thanks for the wonderful invite by Food Ink, the leading food website in Malaysia, I recently went to M Cafe by Meesha Sukira that’s located at Bukit Damansara to try out some of their signature local cuisine.
Started in 2013, the owner named this place as M Cafe because M stands for many positive words like motivation, magnificent or mastery. Combining the Batik boutique and a cafe together, M Cafe aims to promote premium and authentic design Batik cultural through good local foods, especially to the young crowd that presume Batik is only for the old generation.
With production factory at Batu Cave, Meesha Sukira has been in Malaysia quite a while producing glamorous Batik fashion, where cloth, patterns, handcraft, details and dedication are vital to yields premium Batik traditions.

An interesting appetizer dish, Sambal Fish Salad, with myriads of flavors and textures from the different condiments, such as crunchy green apple, sambal kembung fish, onions, juicy tomatoes, peanuts, calamansi, and the homemade recipe chilli sauce. How to eat it? Just use your hand to wrap all the ingredients together with the fresh lettuce and put into your mouth. Yummy!

Lovers of Kelantan cuisine must not miss this local classic signature noodle dish, Mee Celup served with tender beef and crunchy taugeh in flavorful broth that cooked with spices.
*****
A simple but flavor-packed Nyonya Curry Laksa with thick aromatic gravy and lots of my favorite side dishes like chewy fish balls and fish cakes.
*****
Comes with a set that includes steamed white rice and warm soup, this Fried Chicken Salted Egg was my ultimate favorite during the lunch meal. Great on its own or as a side dish to the white rice, chef cooked this fragrant chicken dish with salted egg, butter, curry leaves and some chopped fresh chilli, really addictive to savor.

Served together with crispy and tender fried chicken, M Cafe is now in my list too where your Nasi Lemak cravings can be fulfilled here with their heavenly homemade sambal that taste towards sweet type.
*****
Remarkably flavorsome Hainanese Chicken Chop with crispy outer layer and appetizing tomato based sauce, served together with sautéed vegetables at side.
*****
Served with vanilla ice cream at side, this Chocolate Lava is the perfect ending to a satisfying meal at M Cafe. I truly enjoyed the hot and cold excitement when you scoop together the warm rich chocolaty cake and cold ice cream into your mouth.
