Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Carousel International Coffeehouse at Palace of the Golden Horses and sampled their Prosperity Buffet to usher the Year of the Monkey this February with authentic Chinese cuisine.

Spearheaded by Executive Sous Chef, S. Mageswaran and his kitchen brigade, the Prosperity Buffet is priced at RM88 nett (adult) and RM43 (child) for lunch and RM115 nett (adult) and RM58 nett (child) for dinner. Guests can enjoy an array of Chinese, international and local delights from 6 rotating menus.

In line with the festive season, enjoy the ‘3+1 Deal’ throughout the promotion. For every 3 paying guests, the 4th get to dine absolutely FREE! Children between ages of 5 to 12 years and senior citizens aged 60 and above enjoy a 50% discount for the Prosperity Buffet.

There is a variety of appetisers on the buffet line that will fascinate you including Marinated baby octopus salad, Prawn young mango salad, Chicken liver terrine, Mussels with mango chili salsa, Trio braised duck, Thai chicken salad with coriander, Hawaiian chicken salad with capsicum, Vegetarian goose, Kerabu mangga and Rojak buah-buahan.

For soup lovers, please your palates with choices of 8 treasures seafood soup with bamboo pith, Seafood soup with yellow chives and shimeji mushroom, Sweet corn soup with minced chicken, Dried seafood soup with shredded mushroom, Szechuan hot and sour crab meat soup, Old-fashioned split pea soup and Roasted cream of pumpkin soup.

In addition to the buffet spread which includes offerings like Deep fried chicken with 5-spice, Steamed sea bass with black bean sauce, Deep fried spicy prawns in spicy tomato sauce, Stir fried kailan with crab meat sauce, Cantonese style salt-baked chicken and Irish lamb stew with leek and potato amongst others; there will be other action stalls serving a variety of noodles, assorted steamed buns and dim sum and meat carvings that will surely tantalize your taste buds.
