Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant for Chef Seeri and Chef Randy’s delicious Thai and Nyonya fares.

Located at the 8th floor of Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort City, the view was simply amazing if you choose to dine at the balcony area.

This place is used to be the hotel’s spa until recently converted elegantly into a cozy restaurant. The Aroi Dee Restaurant has 2 private rooms seating 10 and 6 persons respectively. The main hall plus balcony can seat up to 80 persons.

Gai Hor Dai Toey (RM22)
Love the tenderness of this fragrant Thai pandan chicken.

Saku Sai Gai (RM22)
Beautifully presented, this steamed sago stuffed with minced chicken had a very nice chewy texture, I like it so much.

Chef Seeri and Chef Randy also added in some of their new signatures to the existing a la carte menu such as Kway Teow Pad Ki Mau Tale (spicy stir fried kway teow with hot basil leaves and seafood), Spaghetti Pad Kleng Keng Kew (stir fried spaghetti with green curry paste), Udon Pad Prik Gung Nam Yead (spicy braised udon noodles with fresh water prawn), Pad Neau San Hua Kap Kway Teow (pan fried tenderloin beef with kway teow), Kao Pad Sapparod (pineapple fried rice with seafood and chicken floss) and more.

Kao Pad Sapparod (RM27)
I like how the chicken floss complemented the aroma of this pineapple fried rice with seafood. Full of wok hei, I had three full bowls of this!

Udon Pad Kimau Tale (RM28)
Something different besides the normal kway teow noodle, spicy stir fried udon noodle with hot basil leaves and seafood.
*****

Besides the new a la carte items, old favorites for set meals are always available for guests dining pleasure such as the Tom Yum Soup, Deep Fried Prawn with Golden Salted Eggs, Green Curry Chicken/Beef, Sizzling Prawns Nyonya Style, Enche Kabin (Nyonya fried chicken) and many more.

If Tab Tim Krob or Mango Sticky Rice are too mainstream for you, try this Sangkaya Phek (RM15), a yam egg custard dessert, with choice of pumpkin too.
Come visit Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant now where Chef Seeri and Chef Randy delves out good tastes of Thai cuisine as depicted by the restaurant’s name ‘Aroi Dee’.
