Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to 61 Monarchy for ‘An Evening Teatail‘ event by Exclusivitea, the distributor for Ronnefeldt and Fentimans in Malaysia.

Founded in Frankfurt by Johann Tobias Ronnefeldt in 1823, Ronnefeldt is the top premium brand tea for first class hotels and gourmet restaurants throughout the world, where the tea experts specialise in importing and blending high-grade leaf teas from the world’s most important tea growing regions.
Offering unique quality to customers in the world markets from its central European location, Ronnefeldt serves the top hospitality companies with tailor-made tea concepts and innovative service ideas. Ronnefeldt teas are produced using exclusively traditional methods, which means that each step in the tea production is carried out mostly by hand.

The making of every Fentimans is followed to the old time-honoured tradition by brewing and fermenting herbs and milled roots over seven days, while the normal production time for typical soft drinks is only few hours.

The mixologist at 61 Monarchy is creating Ronnefeldt tea based cocktails that topped with Fentimans botanically brewed sodas.

Beautifully presented with shiso leaf in attractive red color, this Berries Wonderland (RM40) consists of Tanqueray No. Ten, Creme de Cacao, syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Ronnefeldt Sweet Berries Soda.

Sample the original taste of this Spices Bramble (RM40) first before pouring in the evaported milk for creaminess, featuring Ketel One Vodka infused with Ronnefeldt Masala Chai and Creme de Cassis Liqueur, syrup, fresh pineapple and lemon juice.

T-Joy (RM40), featuring Monkey Shoulder Blended Whisky, Cherry Heering, Sweet Vermouth, fresh lemon juice, dry orange peel, Fentiman’s Mandarin & Seville Orange Jigger and finished off with Ronnefeldt Roiboos Orange foam on top.

Available for limited time only until 4th December 2016, you can head to 61 Monarchy now at Damansara Uptown and sample these three special drinks.
