Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to La Juiceria Superfoods that is located inside the Avenue K (just opposite the ticket counter of KLCC LRT station) to try out their express menu featuring some of the signature healthy dishes. Besides Cold-Pressed Juices, customers also get to enjoy an array of nourishing delights and cuisine such as Organic Coffee, Gourmet Salads, Power Breakfast, Charcoal Soba, Warm SuperBowls, Delicious Wraps and Raw Cakes at La Juiceria Superfoods.
Aiming to spread the nutritional benefits of superfoods by supercharging Malaysians one deliciously healthy meal at a time, La Juiceria Superfoods Avenue K opened its door in December 2016 after the success and growth of Goodness Greens Café at TTDI and La Juiceria Superfoods Verve® Shops Mont Kiara. It operates from as early as 7 am till 10 pm daily to cater to the office crowd.
Which is your favourite cold-pressed juice flavour? Subject to availability, they have Vital Shot, The Defender, Chlorophyll Water, Love W, PAM, Mint Lemonade, Almond Mylk, Orange Power, Berry Bliss, and my favourite Goodness Greens which made of Japanese Cucumber, Spinach, Kale, Parsley, Celery, Apple and Lemon for the detoxifying and anti-aging benefits.
Should your taste buds feel especially creative you may opt for the Build-Your-Own Breakfast to kickstart your beautiful day with. Priced from RM5 onwards with toast served with butter, you can pick your favourite toppings including Cherry Tomatoes, Chicken Breast, Chicken Sausage, Chicken Thigh, Extra Toast, Free Range Egg, Grilled Tofu, Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Pumpkin, Sauteed Trio Mushrooms, Smashed Avocado, Smoked Salmon and Tuna Flakes to build your own desire breakfast.
Love how the soft boiled kampung egg enhanced the creaminess of my bowl of Smoked Duck Soba (RM18.90) that served together with seaweed, mixed salad leaves, sesame seeds and shoyu sesame dressing. Customers can also have it in the form of Salad (RM17.90) or Wrap (RM18.90) to suit your mood for a healthy wholesome experience.
Diners are spoilt for variety of healthy natural ingredients in this Buddha Bowl (RM18.90), which consists of brown rice, roasted pumpkin, bell peppers, tortilla chips, tofu, grilled mushrooms, French beans, pumpkin seeds, alfalfa sprouts, caramelized cashew brittles, lemon wedge, and Thai coconut red curry.
One of the highly recommended dishes here, the gluten free and lactose free Nasi Lemak Wrap (RM21.90) that is perfect for on-the-go meal. Featuring grilled chicken thigh, hard boiled kampung egg, ikan bilis, quinoa, tomatoes, Japanese cucumber, nuts, romaine lettuce, virgin coconut oil, and last but not least, the to-die-for sambal, this is definitely a healthier option for those who crave for spicy local food. I like their idea to use quinoa instead of rice as it offers more generous dose of vitamins, fibre, minerals, complete protein, and you won’t feel that sleepy after consume the Nasi Lemak Wrap.
“Slowly but surely when they come to realise it is important to be conscious of what they feed themselves with daily.
