HoHoHo, Christmas celebration is just around the corner, do you have any plan yet for this festive season? The Forum KL, Hartamas-based café and restaurant pioneering in South East Asian cuisine, is introducing a Seasonal Christmas Menu with simplistic, humble affair of traditional favourites, perfect for family dinners or intimate gatherings.
Featuring a selection of appetizers, soups, mains and desserts, The Forum KL’s Christmas Menu is crafted for an option of a 3-course selection for RM60 per pax or 4-course selection for RM69 per pax. It is only available via pre-order and advanced booking (latest by morning of the day of booked event date).
A refreshing spin on The Forum KL’s signature salad, I like the colours and flavours of this Christmas Salad with bits of orange, apple, pomegranate and radish added into mixture of vegetables.
One of my hearty favourites, bite-sized Christmas Mini Quiche with light crusty shell and warm filling of cheese, egg, cherry tomato, sliced capsicums and Napolitana sauce.
Featuring a delectable blend of squid, scallops, and prawns, it is perfect to kick off Christmas mains with the creamy Seafood Chowder that bursts with warm flavour.
Simple yet different from the usual Christmas norm, this vibrant Beetroot Soup is as gorgeous as its colour, a deep purple hue of blended beetroot with herbs and spices.
A must-try for the lamb lovers, their Grazed Rack of Lamb features a finely sautéed cut of one-day-marinated lamb lightly seasoned, with a side of Bearnaise sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, white bean purée and sautéed vegetables.
Paired with a quintessential cranberry honey glaze, broccoli purée and sautéed vegetables, the Roasted Turkey features an elegantly portioned leg, lightly pink on the inside and a classic roasted brown on the outside.
A trio of delightful desserts to end your Christmas meal on the sweet note. You will get to taste the classic Tiramisu, Masala Creme Brulee, an subtle Indian spin on a classic French favourite, and a selection of decadent Chocolate Truffles.
