Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to 4Play Seafood & Co that’s located at Publika for some of their tantalizing seafood dishes prepared in Asian-Western style. The chic modern restaurant can nicely fit 80 pax at indoor or up to 120 pax including outdoor, making it a perfect venue for any group dining or private function.

I am a soup person, and this Wild Mushroom Soup (RM20) featuring 3 types of mushrooms is just nice for my liking. Shiitake, oyster and white button mushrooms are simmered in a rich cream broth, then finished with few drops of truffle oil drizzled on top the soup for that alluring fragrant. Other soup choices at 4Play Seafood & Co include the Seafood Cioppino and Pumpkin Soup.

Who does not like salted egg dishes? Lightly coated with golden salted egg yolk and further enhance its aromatic flavours with curry leaves, onions, cili padi and chilli flakes, you can choose between Calamari (RM25), Prawns (RM28) or Chicken (RM25). The taste is so nice, just bagi I ketiga-tiga dishes lah 😀

Another one of my favourites under the tapas section, Butter and Garlic Mushrooms (RM21), where chef sauteed the white button mushrooms in a savoury butter, garlic and basil sauce. The dish goes really well with the fragrant and crunchy garlic bread that served at side.

Beautifully presented Creamy Spinach Stuffed Mushroom (RM22), serving thick juicy Portobello mushroom topped with delicious creamy spinach and alfalfa, a mouth-watering healthier option offered at 4Play Seafood & Co.

Yum… it’s mussels!!! Perfect for sharing among family or friends, we tried the sumptuous Spicy Chilli flavour that is so palate teasing. These mussels are priced at RM35 for 500 grams, you can also opt for other flavours like Creamy Beef Bacon & Basil, Creamy Butter Chilly & Curry Leaves, Salted Egg Yolk, Coconut Cream & Chilli, and last but not least the Green Curry.

For the same flavours selection, you can have it to cook with these succulent Clams (RM30 per 500gm) as well. Perfect to go with a bowl of rice, fragrant garlic bread or crunchy soft mantou, the Creamy Butter Chilly and Curry Leaves sauce that we ordered was tasted so heavenly good, I had my second bowl of rice just for this dish alone!

The highlight of our lunch that day, Crab (RM75 for 500gm) cooked in Coconut Cream and Chilli. Really awesome stuff, one which I truly enjoyed until finger-licking good.

Generous portion of Roasted Stuffed Chicken (RM35), an undoubtedly tasty dish consisting of jalapeno, sundried tomato, and cream cheese sauce to create that balance flavours to satisfy your cravings for tender succulent chicken meal.
