Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Federal Kuala Lumpur’s Mandarin Palace for their Chinese New Year preview event, where their chefs have created different auspicious set menus and delicious dishes with symbolic meaning for the festive season celebration.

Yee Sang is a traditional auspicious dish, symbolic for ushering in good fortune, good luck, and good health for the Lunar New Year.
Come Loh Hei with your family and friends at Mandarin Palace, as their ala carte menu of Yee Sang offers the choice of RM68 (half portion) and RM98 (full portion), the varieties include Yee Sang with Dragon Fruits, Yee Sang with Snow Pear, Yee Sang with Salmon, Yee Sang in Thai Style, and Yee Sang with Jelly Fish.

The Federal Kuala Lumpur has further hiked up the atmosphere by decorating the Chinese New Year decorations from the hotel entrance to lobby and the hotel restaurants. The hotel is adorned with all the Chinese New Year festive decorations such as plum blossoms and red lanterns to greet all the guests with good blessing.
To usher this auspicious Chinese New Year, there will be a spectacular lion dance performance on the first day of Lunar New Year (16 February 2018) at 9:30 am. The spectacular lion dance will wind its way through the hotel beginning at the front entrance with opportunity for guests to take photos with God of Prosperity.
