Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Venue Shah Alam for their preview event of this year Ramadan Buffet, where Chef Nabil Md Salleh will prepare a spectacular array of traditional Malaysian cuisine for this festive promotion.
Strategically located in Seksyen 15 Shah Alam with easy access from main highways, The Venue is an event space venue with ample parking space, offering full wedding package and suitable for other occasions like corporate function, product launching, seminar, exhibition, and etc.
Local food connoisseurs will be amazed with different and unique dishes offerd at The Venue’s Ramadan Buffet, namely Ayam Semor from Javanese recipe and Syamin Rice from Johor. Other highlights of the buffet spread include the authentic Kelantanese dish Beef Kuzi that’s roasted with the finest herbs and spices to entice your appetite. The delicious meaty Beef Kuzi will be served along with Briyani Rice, Chicken Mandy and condiments.
Guests can relish in the spacious buffet displays to select and savour their favourite Ramadan delights. You can look for evergreen favourites like the traditional Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Ayam Goreng Serai, Ikan Cencaru Sumbat Bakar, Patin Masak Tempoyak at the Ramadan Buffet spread.
In addition, there will be also local favourites to tantalize your taste buds, such as the mouth-watering Ayam Kampung Goreng, Chicken Tikka Masala, Assam Laksa, famous wok-fried Char Kuay Teow. On top of that, diners can expect the Keropok Stall serving old time favourites like keropok lekor, keropok udang, and keropok sayur.
Not forgetting the greens, there will be Ulam-ulam Kampong with assorted types of sambal, as well as a selection of Kerabu like Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Kerabu Daun Pegaga, Kerabu Nangka Muda, Kerabu Pucuk Ubi, Kerabu Kacang Botol, and many more.

The Venue is launching a new hall this year named Event Hall, which can accommodate up to 250 pax at one time. Therefore, they will have 2 halls to host the Ramadan Buffet, including the spacious Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 400 pax at one time. For guests’ convenience, The Venue also provides prayer room for Maghrib and Isya’ prayers and a section set aside for wuduk.
The Venue’s Ramadan Buffet will be available daily from 6 pm to 10 pm, 18 May until 12 June 2018. Priced at RM68 nett per adult, RM40 nett per child aged between 4 to 12 years old, and RM60 nett per senior citizen aged 55 and above. Interested? Hurry, do grab their early bird promotion from 15 April until 10 May 2018 with RM58 nett per adult, RM35 nett per child, and RM50 nett per senior citizen.
For guests who prefer to host their own private Buka Puasa gathering, The Venue is offering a selection of menus starting from RM50 nett per person with a minimum of 100 people.
