Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to the brand new Sedap Restaurant at Pullman KLCC for their “A Taste of Thailand” buffet promotion that will be held from 17 to 30 September 2018.
Thai Chef Phubess Viboonsiripakorn, fondly known as “Chef Pop” from Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, will be sharing his culinary talents with the local team to showcase a wide selection of authentic Thai cusine on the lunch and dinner buffet. Chef Pop is a leading Thai specialty chef with 15 years experience, mainly in fine dining restaurants throughout Thailand.
Thai cuisine is known for drawing its exotic flavours from the sweet, sour, savoury, and spicy classes, with fresh ingredients and garden herbs at the heart of every dish. Chef Pop is thrilled at the idea of sharing this culture with the guests of Pullman KLCC. His expertise lies in using traditional Thai cooking methods in a modern and innovative way.
Food lovers will be able to savour Chef Pop’s authentic Thai cuisine, in which seasonal and sustainable ingredients are the core to each dish’s success. The promotional buffet spread will include traditional favourites such as Tom Yum Goong (Hot and Sour Thai Soup), Som Tam (Spicy Green Papaya Salad), Pad Thai (Stir Fried Thai Rice Noodle), GaengKeow Wan Kai (Green Chicken Curry), Pad Kra Prao (Thai Hot Basil Chicken) and many more.
There will also be live cooking stations for those who like fresh food cooked à la minute. The menu will change daily and will also feature some lesser known selections that are just as authentic and delicious, including Pla Pao (Thai Grilled Fish) and Gai Yang (Thai Grilled Chicken) as well as Tub Tim Grob (Water Chestnut Rubies in Sweetened Coconut Milk) and the very popular Mango Sticky Rice.
