Shout out to all food lovers, want to be rewarded with food and beverages for FREE?!!
Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya for their ‘The Taste of Paradigm – Spend and Be Rewarded’ campaign that’s happening from 19th August until 17th November, 2019. The management had organized a food tour to feature some of the F&B tenants at Paradigm Mall PJ, as well as showcased their signature dishes through sampling session.
1st stop, we went to Nam Heong Ipoh at Level CC (lot 56P & 59P). Backed by 60 years of rich history, the restaurant is renowned for preserving the timeless flavours of Ipoh’s culinary heritage.
I always come to Nam Heong Ipoh for their freshly baked egg tart pair with a cup of warm white coffee that lingers long inside my mouth after the first sip. Their Chicken Sou, Caramel Egg Custard, Tau Fu Fah, and Red Bean Soup also perfect for your afternoon tea indulgence after tired from the shopping.
Next, we headed to Goku Raku Ramen at Level 2 (lot 26 & 27). Patrons can taste the Horikiri styled ramen here that discovered by noted ramen connoisseur, Mr Teruhisa Shimizu. Their unique Horikiri styled ramen goes well with the palatable pork, chicken and fish mixed broth, as well as the shio (salt) and shoyu (Japanese soy sauce) soup base made especially by their chef.
Goku Raku Ramen’s noodles are made fresh daily in-house and the broth is simmered to perfection for 48 hours to bring out its exquisite taste. I usually like to order extra soy-marinated egg that made a great addition to my steaming bowl of ramen. Oishii…
Wrapped in a thin dough, these juicy Gyoza that filled with ground meat and vegetables are also freshly made. I also like their signature Niku Dango, a minced pork meatball dish flavoured with homemade sweet and sour sauce.
Molten Chocolate Cafe at Level G (lot 02) is the perfect place for chocolate lovers and dessert junkies to indulge your taste buds with their irresistible Central European and American flavours of chocolate.
From French crepes to Belgian pastries and waffles, you can come here to cure your cravings for all things chocolate, definitely a cocoa experience you will remember.
Just look at their crepe, it is artistically presented on the plate with a mixture of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate sauce. A dessert heaven not to be missed for serious chocoholics, I will definitely come back for more!
Suki Cha at Level CC (lot 55A) is a contemporary Japanese tradition brand that serves different types of recharging tea from Japan, including Matcha, Sencha, Black Tea, Hojicha, Brown Rice Tea, and Dessert. They have toppings like Tokyo Flan, Chocolate Flan, and Shiratama Azuki that are quite special compared to other places.
Matcha – It is the most loved Japanese tea around the world. Come in powder form, you need to dissolve matcha powder in water before drinking. The umami and nutrients can be enjoyed all together with this tea.
Sencha – This tea is unique for its light aroma and smooth finishing, characterized by a balanced umami and astringency. Kick start your day with Sencha, as well as times when you need an extra boost.
Hojicha – The tea leaves are roasted to create a distinctive mellow fragrance. Perfect refresher after meals, you will get addicted after a sip of this Japan’s special tea.
Genmaicha – Notable for its aroma and fresh aftertaste, Genmaicha is a blend of tea leaves and roasted white rice. Recommended to drink when you want to relax because this is a caffeine-free tea.
Black Tea – Highly fragrant and enjoyed straight, it is the perfect partner for Suki Cha’s special fruit sauce and toppings.
Each cup of Suki Cha’s beverage is sure to evoke a sense of comfort, warmth and joy from the very first sip. So, let’s recharge at Suki Cha especially feeling tired after hours of shopping.
