Who does not like Doraemon?!
Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Marrybrown for their launching of the exclusive Doraemon Birthday Bash package. Do I look nice with my adorable Doraemon’s birthday crown? đŸ˜‰
Marrybrown, the largest Halal home-grown fast food restaurant chain in Malaysia is collaborating with Doraemon on their first venture, where starting from December 2019 those intending to have a birthday party will be able to celebrate their birthdays together with one of the world’s beloved Japanese cartoon character.
This collaboration will be one of their meaningful initiatives as it brings Malaysians to come together towards a shared interest that they grew up with. “We are proud to collaborate with Doraemon as we introduce our new birthday package, for we know that Doraemon is very famous amongst Malaysians and is appreciated by fans of all ages. We were sure that this tiny gesture from Marrybrown and Doraemon would bring smiles to Malaysian children,” said Datin Nancy Liew, Managing Director of Marrybrown.
Introduced in 1969, Doraemon is an extremely popular Japanese manga series by Fujiko F Fujio. The comedy manga revolves around the adventures of Doraemon, a cat-type robot from the future.
Having served Malaysians with mouth-watering crispy chicken and other delectable favours for 38 years, Marrybrown collaborated with Doraemon to bring more joy to Malaysians. Now you can celebrate your birthday together with Doraemon and his friends, complete with Doraemon merchandise and decorations that will leave kids (including adults!) gleeful with excitement.
To commemorate this launch and also in continuing their culture of helping to create a better future for children, Marrybrown brought together more than 100 underprivileged children from 4 children homes in Klang Valley to celebrate a day of fun with Doraemon and his friends, in conjunction with Children’s Day celebration.
Each of them were also given school supplies such as stationery and backpacks to prepare themselves for the new school year, in order to reduce the burden of each home and not having to worry about additional expenditures.

As such there was no hesitation for us in doing this collaboration with Doraemon, as we know that like our food, everyone can easily relate to this well-loved cartoon character,” said Michael Liew, business director of Marrybrown.
