Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Deli that nestled in MiCasa All Suite Hotel Kuala Lumpur to check out their new tantalising a la carte menu, offering Japanese comfort food that many knew very little off in the past.
Located on the ground floor of MiCasa All Suite Hotel Kuala Lumpur, The Deli is Jalan Tun Razak’s best kept secret that serves Japanese delights daily, except on Sundays between 12 noon to 7pm. Combined with streams of natural light, an ambiance of relaxed sophistication and a comfortable environment, I like to dine in at The Deli as it promises a truly memorable bon vivant experience.
Helmed by Chef Takashi Kimura of the 5-star fine dining Cilantro Restaurant & Wine Bar, the dishes presented are vibrant with intriguing textures. Among the dishes introduced are the Tamago Sandwich, 8 types of Vegetable Sandwiches, Japanese Salad, Salmon and Avocado Roll, Chicken Curry Don, Kakiage Don, Chicken Katsu Don, Oyakodon, Nabeyaki Udon, Curry Udon, Wagyu Stroganoff, Wagyu Burger and Yakisoba.
Consisting of Japanese Rice, Roasted Seaweed, Iceberg Lettuce, Avocado, Salmon, Japanese Mayonnaise and Kizami Wasabi, these Salmon and Avocado Rolls (RM22) look refreshing yummy to share with others.
On diet or eating clean? This Japanese Salad (RM16) fits well with a combination of healthy ingredients like Baby Cos Lettuce, Kyuri, Daikon, Tuna Chunks, Nori, Wakame, Sesame Seed, and flavoured with Japanese Dressing.
If rice is your staple, then you will be thrilled to savour these delicious rice dishes, including :
Chicken Katsu Don (RM18) – Japanese Rice, Chicken Katsu, Onions, Egg and Togarashi
Chicken Curry Don (RM18) – Japanese Rice, Chicken Katsu, Pickled Daikon and Japanese Curry
Wagyu Stroganoff (RM30) – Japanese Rice, Wagyu Beef, Onion, Button Mushroom, and Creamy Espagnole Sauce
Oyakodon (RM18) – Japanese Rice, Braised Chicken, Onions, Egg and Togarashi
Kakiage Don (RM21) – Japanese Rice, Tendon Sauce, Kakiage of Tiger Prawn, Squid, Onion, Carrot and Coriander
My favourite Curry Udon (RM26), a bowl of warm Homemade Udon soaked in appetizing Japanese Curry, together with ingredients like Chicken, Shiitake Mushroom, Onion, Narutomaki, Egg Mollet, Spring Onion and Togarashi.
Look simple but this Wagyu Burger (RM30) taste so good with its Homemade Burger Bun layered with Wagyu Patty, Tomato, Onion, Mix Lettuce, Cheddar Cheese, and Mustard Sauce.
The new menu will be available daily starting 7th January 2020 onwards. Every dish ordered except the Japanese Salad will be served with a portion of Cabbage Salad each while a rice dish will be served together with Miso Soup.
