Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to CHICHA SanChen in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and check out some of their signature tea beverages. After the great success of their Johor Bahru branch, CHICHA SanChen has finally arrived in Kuala Lumpur.
Originated from Taiwan, CHICHA SanChen was founded in 1998 with a mission to make high-quality freshly brewed teas accessible to discerning tea drinkers. The brand is handcrafted by Taiwanese tea masters with over 20 years of experience, including having its own tea mountain, professional tea tasters and tea roasters. They are the only bubble tea brand that has been awarded an equivalent of 2 and 3 Michelin stars by the iTQi Star certification.
The bubble tea at CHICHA SanChen is freshly brewed-to-order from their patented AI Teapresso machine, crafted with high-quality ingredients to ensure flavour and quality consistency.
The trained staffs apply professional techniques of traditional tea making in controlling water temperature, water ratio and waiting time to preserve the delicate tastes and fragrances of tea.
Some of my personal favourites would be the Bubble Milk Tea (RM15.90), Fresh Milk with Brown Sugar Bubble (RM15.90), High Mountain PouChong Tea with Lemon Juice (RM12.90), and Cassia Black Tea with Mousse (RM14.40).
You can also customise your own tea by choosing the tea base, flavouring, toppings, and level of sugar and ice. They use freshly extracted groud tea to brew your beverage, including Green Tea (松针绿茶), Osmanthus Oolong Tea (水仙桂花), High Mountain Pouchong Tea (玉露清茶), Black Tea (凤眉红茶), Dong Ding Oolong Tea (凍頂乌龙), and Cassia Black Tea (决明子红乌龙).
I also get to experience their exclusive tea tasting session, which allow me to taste the difference between their teas roasted at 5 levels unique to CHICHA SanChen, with tea leaves harvested from their own tea mountains at 2,000-2,200 above sea level in Taiwan.
CHICHA SanChen strives to make the pleasures of tea-drinking easily accessible in a modernized experience that satisfies the desire for both traditional tea and bubble tea.
What I like about CHICHA SanChen is that instead of just a regular cup of bubble tea, they offer discerning tea lovers a fresh brew with an authentic tea flavour that is tailored specifically to your taste buds.
