The chefs at Cinnamon Coffee House, One World Hotel Petaling Jaya have prepared a specially curated “Imbasan Nostalgia” dinner buffet during the holy month of Ramadan, which is available from 3rd April until 2nd May 2022.
Featuring over 100 heritage and traditional buffet spread encompassing delicacies of the Malay, Indian, Chinese, Western, Middle-Eastern etc cuisines, “Imbasan Nostalgia” is a wistful culinary experience of reminiscence for all guests.
Ranging from a colourful selection of appetisers to classic Malay delights featuring local favourites such as the creamy stew-like soup of flavourful boiled onions and other spices known as Sup Gearbox; the must-have-comfort-food of Bubur Lambuk, a meaty spiced congee; Daging Deng Deng which is a sweet, savoury and spicy beef dish; Daging Sumor Kalimantan – a type of Indonesian stew with beef packed with wholesome condiments and spices; a hot and spicy Indonesian relish of Sambal Udang Petai; an assorted varieties of Lemang – which is a traditional food made from glutinous rice, coconut milk and salt, cooked in a hollowed bamboo tube coated with banana leaves and so much more, it is a guaranteed experience on our Malaysian culture.
Dropped by the other counter stations and savour an array of local and international delicacies apart from local Malay delights.
Begin your culinary journey with their Seafood on Ice – a crushed bed of ice displaying an array of fresh seafood such as Chilled Prawns, Mussels, Crabs and Fresh Oysters and end the journey with one of Cinnamon Coffee House’s best sellers – the tender roasted New Zealand Lamb served with Mint Sauce.
Remember to stop in-between to sample the Fresh Japanese Sashimi and Tempura station, the Western cuisines of Seafood Ragout, Beef Stroganoff and the Middle-Eastern station serving Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Moussaka amongst others.
Complete your feast by indulging in their mouth-watering creations accentuating the taste of traditional Malay spread local desserts and snacks such as Durian Apam Gulung, Puding Cendol, Pulut Serawa and Pengat Nangka Sago.
