Craving for some authentic Thai food like Mango Sticky Rice, Pad Thai, Som Tam, Tom Yum MAMA Noodles or Mookata BBQ Steamboat?!

Come to THINK THAILAND Festival this 26 May until 6 June happening at Tropicana Gardens Mall. There is a Thai Street Food Bazaar at the outdoor zone that can satisfy your cravings with lots of delicious Thai food offered by Thai SELECT restaurants.

Thai SELECT is a mark of certification awarded by the Ministry of Commerce, the Royal Thai Government, and DITP to guarantee the authentic Thai taste of Thai food products and restaurants as well as hospitality and atmosphere of the restaurants in Thailand and Overseas. It is a very prestigious award for any Thai restaurant.
The Thai SELECT symbol is given to restaurants in three categories, assessed by the type of restaurant, decoration and level of food and service excellence, namely Signature, Classic, and Casual.

Few Thai SELECT restaurants such as Malai Thai Cuisine, Pandan Thai Delight, Thai Luck, WhatSaeb Boat Noodles, Thai-in Mookata, and Mr. TukTuk were invited to participate in the THINK THAILAND Festival. Besides introducing their delicious cuisine, they will also share tips and insights to Thai cooking as well as conducting cooking demo shows or talks during the festival.

Pandan Thai Delight is the only Thai SELECT restaurant in Kuching, Sarawak. I enjoyed their Mango Sticky Rice and Som Tam very much. It was truly delectable especially the fresh mango fruit.

Do check out the Tom Yum MAMA Noodles by Thai Luck. Served with homemade chicken ball and kampung egg on top, it is so addictive to enjoy with its hot sourish taste.

Serving butt-kicking boat noodles and other delicious Thai cuisine since 2014, WhatSaeb Boat Noodles is the first Thai SELECT restaurant in Penang.

I love these Kai Ping from Mr TukTuk, the texture is so tender and juicy. Mr TukTuk is a Halal Thai restaurant with branches at many shopping centres like IOI City Mall, Empire City, Nu Sentral, The Gardens Mall, Gamuda Walk, Starling Mall, Setia City Mall, Sunway Pyramid, and Sunway Velocity.

I had fun enjoying the al-fresco dining with friends accompanied by the live band performance playing some upbeat Thai pop songs everyday from 7pm to 10pm.

Organized by The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce (DITP), and Tourism Authority of Thailand, the festival will be the largest, most exceptional and eventful Thai event ever organized in Malaysia, with the aim to support both Thai exporters and Malaysian importers in boosting the sales of Thai products in Malaysia, while marking the readiness to welcome the Malaysians back to Thailand once again.
Do not miss out this 12-day THINK THAILAND festival, come with family and friends to indulge in a wealth of Thai culture, product, food, and many more!
