SALA is redefining the plant-based food category in Malaysia by introducing the spiciest burger their customers has ever seen – the new SALA Burger Belacan!!

Not only is the burger a treat for the taste buds, but it is also completely meatless. The alternative meat experts at Phuture Food’s provides the patty that is used for this burger to create a mouth-watering, rich flavour and buttery tenderness that closely mimics the meat burgers that most would be familiar with.

The burger truly celebrates the quintessence of being a Malaysian on loving all things local, especially for the adventurous foodies.

Aside from flavour, customers can also expect a surprising mouthfeel of different textures, including a crispiness from the fresh coral lettuce, crunchiness from deep fried tortilla chips to the soft and soft texture of the bun.

Bring back good memories with every crunchy, flavoursome bite of SALA’s special vegan Burger Belacan, paired with Phuture Food’s beef patty that is uniquely cooked in an air fryer to ensure that the juices of the burger is locked in so that every bite is always satisfying.

Available for a limited time only, in conjunction with our national day holidays, only at SALA restaurants in Malaysia, except SALA Avenue K.

SALA is a Latin-inspired, Tex-Mex, plant-based vegan restaurant in Malaysia. It was founded by Malaysian-born, Fauzi Hussein, who created his restaurant to be a fun way to eat healthily and be aware of environmental sustainability.

In 2020, SALA was acquired by Berjaya Food Berhad, accelerating its growth with expansions across the region from one restaurant to over seven locations across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Aside from tacos and burritos, SALA also prides itself on combining local delicacies and national favorites into its offerings with a healthier and cleaner twist, including famous staples like “Nasi Lemak” and many others.
