Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to AEON Mall Shah Alam for Mission Foods and AEON’s #PowerYourLunchBox contest prize giving ceremony, where 20 lucky winners went home happy with RM1,000 in cash vouchers each.
The #PowerYourLunchBox contest was run on Mission Foods’ and AEON’s social media platforms from 1-31 March where participants need to submit their most creative lunchbox ideas. To be eligible, participants simply had to purchase 2 delicious packs of any Mission products in an AEON outlet prior to their submission. The overwhelming response with excitingly creative submissions led to Mission Foods increasing the number of winners from the initial 10 to 20 winners.
The participants showcased their creativity through the winning recipes which include twists to Malaysian favourite dishes like Pita Ayam Percik, Scrambled Otak Otak Wrap, Quiche Kangkung Goreng Belacan, Salted Egg Chicken Wrap, Rendang Pizza and Grilled Chicken Satay Wrap.
Other delicious recipes that won in the #PowerYourLunchBox contest were Happy Clown on Hot Pita, Bilis with Tempeh Pita Pocket, Stir Fried Wrappo, Cheesy Beef Murtabak, Tandoori Chicken Sandwich, Black Pepper Chicken Chop Wrap, Seafood & Chicken Wrap, Laksa Goreng Wrap, Curry Potato & Cheese Quesadillas, Wrap Curry Puff, Sweet & Sour Shrimps Taco, Chicken Lada Kering Wrap, and Crispy Tuna Tartlet.
“We held this contest to inspire our consumers to experiment and create appetising lunch boxes powered by Mission products. The overwhelming response and quality of submission topped our expectations and highlighted just how amazingly creative Malaysian consumers are,” said Mark Tan, Head of Sales, Mission Foods Malaysia. Mr Tan added that the submissions and chosen winners came from various parts of Malaysia.
In addition to the RM20,000 AEON cash vouchers, all winning recipes will be published in a recipe booklet to be released in July, available complimentary with any purchase of 2 Mission Wraps in all participating supermarkets.
