Tucked inside a quiet corner of The Place at Damansara Perdana, Bricks Cafe is a simple hang-out place yet full of its own characteristic. With warm yellow dim lights, this cozy spot was newly opened by a lovely couple, Eric and Samantha, to fulfill their long-time passion for coffee.

Why Bricks Cafe? Well, the cafe also serves as an office for Samantha’s real estate business. She usually invites her colleagues and clients to come over for a comfort meeting with choices of coffees and cakes ready to be served. To me, this is just a wonderful idea, the merge of both your work and coffee passion at a relaxing environment.

The menu is pretty simple at the moment, but the varieties offered are good enough to pamper you throughout the hang-out session. Being one of their favourite picks, Bricks Cafe uses Colombian Supremo as the debut coffee bean for all the beverages. It has the perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and a heady nutty aroma, lots of their coffee enthusiasts regulars do come back for this specific taste.

Try the Affogato with Forty Licks’s Salted Caramel Ice Cream, nice match of flavor, perfect for those who are not too fancy of sweet stuff.

Good choice of tea! Bricks Cafe serves teapigs (www.teapigs.co.uk) to customers who prefer tea drinks. We tried 3 different flavors, the Lemon and Ginger, Super Fruit, and Chamomile Flowers.

The cakes are homemade by Samantha’s baker friend. Taste quite good, grab a bite to compliment your enjoyable coffee or tea sipping moment.

All the coffee beverages in Bricks Cafe are espresso brewed at the moment, but being coffee enthusiasts themselves, Eric and Samantha may bring in few hand brewed types when the business is more stable in near future soon.
