Located at the busy neighborhood of Desa Sri Hartamas, Cafe Olle welcomed their customers with good coffee and a relaxing space to unwind from the stress and hectic city life with its warm and natural-inspired setting.

Owned and operated by Gilbert Kim, a friendly Korean with lots of passion in coffee, Cafe Olle was named after the local Jeju dialect that means a narrow pathway that connects from the street to the front gate of your house. The routes pass through various beautiful and natural landscapes along the way including small villages, beaches, farms, forests and parasitic volcanoes.

Cafe Olle served 3 types of specialty coffee beans that roasted in-house for the consistency in quality, namely the Savannah Street, Greenbow Alabama and Port Sahara.

Savannah Street tasted floral, slightly smoky and heavy body with rates of Aroma 4, Acidity 2, Sweetness 2, Bitterness 2 and Body 4. Greenbow Alabama had the floral sweet taste, heavy body and well-balanced with rates of Aroma 4, Acidity 1, Sweetness 4, Bitterness 2 and Body 4. Port Sahara was smoky and heavy body in nut tone with rates of Aroma 2, Acidity 1, Sweetness 3, Bitterness 3 and Body 3. Interested cafes can contact Cafe Olle for the inquiry.

Cafe Olle did not have a complicated food menu, served only the panini sandwiches, salad and pasta.

Vegetarian Pasta (RM14)

A simple but healthy and flavor-packed pasta dish, chef cooked it together with eggplant, fresh Italian herbs and Parmigiano cheese, as well as extra virgin olive oil drizzled on top to give it a nice texture.

Cafe Olle sourced their pastries from a Korean lady who home-made these wonderful cakes with lots of love. I like both of these, Black and White Cheese Cake as well as the Nut Cheese Cake, not too overwhelm sweet with soft and moist texture, matched perfectly with my cup of coffee.

I personally prefer the Nut Cheese Cake, a soft sponge cake with thick layer of cream cheese sandwiched in the middle, lots of my favorite crushed nuts were also placed on top and drizzled with the sinfully sweet caramel sauce. Yummy!
