Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Le Pont and tried out their ‘Novel Noel‘ campaign that runs from 23 November to 4 January 2016.

Featuring a ravishing selection of timeless Christmas flavors from main courses to desserts and drinks that infused with a touch of contemporary flair, Le Pont invites diners to embark on a captivating journey of the senses and palate with seasonal menu crafted by the award winning culinary trio, Chef de Cuisine Daniel Wong, Pastry Chef Padzli and Head of Coffee David Leong.

Frisee & Beef Bacon Salad (RM16.90)

For starters, we had this salad that accompanied with rich medley of flavors, a delightful mixture of crispy beef bacon strips tossed with Frisee, egg confit, shaved mushrooms and honey mustard dressing for a flavorsome finish.

Vichyssoise (RM12.90)

Simple comfort food with garlic croutons served at side, chef prepared this traditional French thick soup with leek puree and cream of potatoes.

Seafood Red Rhapsody (RM38)

Heart-warming bouillabaisse seafood stew that’s perfect for sharing, which chef brimmed it with razor clams, seabass, prawns and served together with a side of garlic toast.

Throughout the promotion period, these 3 dishes will be made available as a combo set for only RM58.90 instead of RM64.70 normal price.

Salad Nicoise (RM16.90)

Also highly recommended from Chef Daniel is this Salad Nicoise, a classic French salad with green bean, tuna, chopped egg and shallot vinegrette for a heavenly finishing.

Le Pont’s Special Lamb Shank (RM37.90)

Each creation at Le Pont comes with its own distinctive flavor to satisfy the most discerning taste buds, like this mouth-watering lamb shank that braised in delicate house-made apricot sauce and served with potatoes, roasted peppers and asparagus.

Christmas Tree Waffle (RM17.90)

Slightly dusted with snow frosting, this soft and fluffy specialty jade waffles were made of spirulina for the natural coloring, which was something new and cool to me. Served with homemade raspberry sorbet in a glass dessert cup layered with almond crumble, diced strawberry and fresh whipped cream, such a lovely dessert duo to go with my merry little Christmas.

Molten Snowman (RM19.90)

A timeless combination of chocolate and vanilla enjoyment not to be missed for serious chocoholics, with a luscious scoop of vanilla ice cream perched on molten chocolate cake with feuilletine topping.

Snowy Wonderland (RM20.90)

Paired with a sprinkle of snow meringue and velvety chocolate sauce, this interesting dark chocolate ganache ball dessert comes with a surprise centre of homemade honey ice cream, strawberry and blueberry.

Cinnamon Affogato (RM14.50)

Signature cinnamon ice cream coupled with Le Pont’s bridging blend espresso for an enticing twist to a true Christmas classic.

For coffee connoisseurs, do try out this specialty Orange Cinnamon Bliss (RM14.50) with unique pairing of bridging blend coffee and orange-cinnamon ice cubes. Refreshing soda was poured in upon savoring to create the rich symphony of flavors.

    Talk about food I will be number 1 rushing there to taste. haha. Cinnamon afogato is special as a lot of place use vanila ice cream to do it. My bf sure likes this.
