Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to The Point Restaurant & Bar Kuala Lumpur and sampled their brand new menu featuring innovative dishes in fusion style that are inspired by the Local, Asian, European and Mediterranean flavors.

Located in Medan Damansara, The Point KL offers patrons an exquisite mix of dining experiences in a modern sophistication setting. Available from 26th February 2016 onwards, the new menu at The Point KL will see a refreshing take on the Tapas, Brunch, Dinner, and Dessert selections.

With a background of French and Italian culinary, Head Chef Kua Jin Hao showcased his creative touch to the new dishes, including this signature crowd favorite Truffled Cold Angel Hair (RM30) paired with exquisite Avruga Caviar .

Served in crunchy lettuce cup, these Soft Shell Crabs (RM29) coated with my favorite salted egg yolk and curry leaf infused cream sauce will send your taste buds into a world of flavorful mouth-watering goodness!

Served together with mash potatoes, asparagus and quinoa crisps, this sous vide Chicken Thigh (RM38) was tenderly good with taste-tempting flavor from the percik sauce that you won’t soon forget.

One of the captivating offerings at The Point, deconstructed Bah Kut Teh (RM47) with 12-hour slow cooked soft tender pork belly, served with quinoa, pak choy, garlic and chili padi soy glaze, topped with crispy mushroom tempura as garnishing.

Another satisfying meal not to be missed especially for the pasta lovers, chef tossed this Halibut Fish Linguine (RM28) together with cream, asparagus, parsley and Grana Padano cheese for the impressive taste and fragrant.

Be spoilt with The Point’s modern sophistication gastronomical experience with this Pan Seared Black Cod (RM62) that served with smoked caviar dressing, asparagus, mushroom fritters and balsamico.

Available from Wednesday till Sunday, The Point KL serves a selection of scrumptious Brunch dishes from 11:30 am to 2 pm, which include this Surf and Turf (RM32), a corned beef burger with deep fried crayfish and dill mayo as well as Mesclun salad and chips served at side. Remember to ask the staff about their Daily Brunch Set Special, which selling at only RM20++ with 1 meal and 1 drink available every Wednesday till Friday.

A sweet end to our night of good foods, this classic Mille-feuille Ricotta (RM26) was beautifully presented with layers of puff pastry that filled with ricotta cheese, peach and berries.
