Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to AKASA Cheras South‘s sales gallery for their ‘Light Up Together‘ event, which brought family and friends together to relive the festive reunion with love and happiness.

There were lots of fascinating activities like Chinese Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble Performance, Lantern Tunnel, as well as scrumptious foods to entertain the guests.

Some of the beautiful tanglung drew by the children in the Creative Lantern Workshop. I was really impressed by the details of this piece of art!

The organizer also arranged two food trucks at the event to fill up the guests’ tummy with delicious foods. I had the nachos chicken, generous portion enough for sharing, yumz!

I found this Coffee and Mooncake Pairing Workshop by Bean to Cup very interesting. We get to try Americano with Red Bean Mooncake, Latte with Pandan Mooncake, Mocha with Single Yoke Lotus Mooncake, Popcorn Flavoured Latte with White Pure Lotus Mooncake, and Brewed Coffee with Mocha Mooncake. Each pairing was unique and nicely matched by the skillful barista, I truly enjoyed the whole fun session.

This family-friendly event was a successful one with many guests turned up with their family and friends. We took a lot of memorable selfies too around this amazing colourful Lantern Tunnel, which is the main highlight of this ‘Light Up Together’ event.
