Being one of the celebrity chefs in Singapore, Chef Melvyn Lee is also the artiste under King Kong Media. He recently expanded his proficient cooking skill in Malaysia by becoming the co-owner of Salad Atelier.
It is a simple concept café that focuses on healthy customizable salad meal with fresh toppings and special home-made dressing. Started in year 2014 and rapidly grow into salad bar chain in Malaysia in 3 years, Salad Atelier now runs 7 outlets in Kuala Lumpur City Centre and 3 outlets in Chengdu, China.
Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to King Kong Media Production’s office at KL Eco City for Chef Melvyn Lee’s ‘Taste of Togetherness‘ event. The gathering is a gesture of appreciation from King Kong Media and Salad Atelier to their immediate partners for their support towards Chef Melvyn by endorsing him and his restaurant businesses.
Known as one of the greatest new generation identities in Singapore’s culinary scene, celebrity chef Melvyn Lee has an amazing culinary talent and personality that have sky-rocketed him into the spotlight.
He had starring roles in a number of travel and cooking shows including his very own travelogue – Accidental Chef, where he travelled to 8 Asian countries introducing their cultures and cuisines and cooked for high profile names. After his Accidental Chef series, he was endorsed by multiple companies and expanded his television capacity making special appearances in more than 30 programmes.
Melvyn was trained at at Sunrice Global Chef Academy. After graduating, he continue honing his culinary skills in renowned kitchens like Al Forno and ll Lido. With experience, passion and dedication, he become a private chef where he began the road of culinary masterpiece.
After spent earlier years learn of western food and then now better known as Asian Food Soldier, his Western and Asian cuisine knowledge makes a stable table platform for him to continue pursue an evolution and unique style that blurs the boundaries between Asian and Western cuisine and showcase recipes for food lovers to enjoy.
Founded by Mark Lee, a Singapore well-known artist, King Kong Creative Media is an entertainment company powered by King Kong Media Production based in Malaysia that dedicated to offers a variety of events marketing and production, as well as content creation and idea development.
