Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur and check out their menus that have been specially created to commemorate the romantic Valentine’s Day at PRIME, Favola, Gastro Sentral, Latest Recipe and Art Cacao.

Intended to reflect the modern classic interpretation of a classic pub, Gastro Sentral is a trendy dining venue that boasts a menu of quality, freshness and innovation with a relaxed but attentive service at a great price.

Couples may take pleasure in its specially-crafted Adam & Eve’s Valentine’s Day 4-course Set Menu. It is priced at RM420 nett per couple (RM500 nett per couple for booth seating) or RM240 nett per person.

Begin the course with ‘Love at First Bite’ featuring Soy Miso Japanese Hamachi Ceviche, Melon and Caviar, Lemony Cinnamon Potted Shrimps and Freshly Shucked Canadian Oysters with Yuzu.

Featuring Seared Jumbo Scallops Asian Bouillabaisse Coriander Brittle and Cress, a ‘Love Potion #9’ will be served before the couple moves on to the main courses ‘Spring of Love’.

For him, expect a Beef Wellington with a Twist, featuring a deconstructed 65°C Roasted Angus Beef, Mille Feuille of Seared Foie Gras and Wilted Spinach, Creamy Ceps and Golden Pastry.

For her, indulge in Gastro Sentral’s very own version of Fish ‘N’ Chips featuring Truffle Buttered Roasted Cod Fillet, Crispy Battered Boston Lobster and a variation of Chips, finished off with Green Pea Crema, Sweet and Sour Orange Sauce.

For a ‘Sweet Finale‘, end it with Banoffee Pie with Lavender Ice Cream and Rose Macaroon.

For a hearty spread of culinary delights, treat your loved one to a special buffet dinner at Latest Recipe. Be treated to a vibrant array of local and international flavours amidst a warm and contemporary dining atmosphere for a lovely, romantic evening. Available from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm, the menu is priced at RM198 nett per person.

Plan to spend Valentine’s Day indoors? Fret not, as Art Cacao’s Cupid Heart Cake is perfect for Valentine’s Day. Priced at RM180 nett per whole cake, this is available upon request within 24 hours.
