Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently went to the launching event of “Sweeter When Shared” Summer Fruits Campaign by Taste Australia. You can now enjoy Australia’s freshest seasonal produce straight at our shelves.

The timing of the “Sweeter When Shared” campaign couldn’t be more ideal with the start of the New Year and Chinese New Year as well as Valentine’s Day just around the corner making it the perfect time to savour Australia’s succulent summer fruits with family and loved ones. Fruits, especially peaches are a popular gift during Chinese New Year as they symbolize the wish for a long and healthy life.

Nectarines, Peaches, Plums and Apricots, these Aussie summer fruits are all-rounders, versatile, nutrient rich and sweet yet healthy. Do you know that summer fruits may also be called stone fruit because of their pit seed?
